I don't mean a spot or two but a deep stickiness that suggests it's simply not being cleaned floor to ceiling (don't even think about looking under the tables at the accumulating detritus). The food was poorly prepared -- undercooked lentils, yum. They were out of several items. The soda was flat. When I told an employee, his response: "There's nothing we can do about it." They are clearly understaffed and overworked (and I would guess underpaid) -- so it's hard to blame them. But it does explain just how truly awful this dining experience was. Cava, I will not be back.
