  Nice, friendly and professional cashiers, well organized food items, and plenty of parking. Fruit such as strawberries and blueberries are sometimes moldy under the first layer, so you don't see it until you open the package. I move here in July and had to throw away 4 berry containers due to spoiled fruits. Pies, such as apple, peach, and coconut pies are not very fresh, and I have thrown away 3 half pies due to being old and dry! It is the closest grocery store to my house and I go when I just need a few food items. Otherwise, I'll drive 15 minutes to Walmart. I wished we had an ALDIs here in my town!

  This was my first day shopping at this Food Lion. I was very impressed. The produce department looked so beautiful with everything lined up and colorful that I bought multiple items from it, despite having no produce on my shopping list. And it wasn’t just that area. The whole store seemed fully stocked with all the items I needed available. I was able to buy extra of the mvp sale items to stock up. This store was a bit out of my way to go to, but I will be returning periodically to do my shopping. Great job!

  I bought hamburger meat there today. The outside was red and looked fresh. Once I opened the package, the meat was brown on the inside and had a funky smell. This has happened to me on several occasions. Produce that comes bagged, often contains items that are no longer fresh. I should know better than to shop there.
