  Great customer service. They truly appreciate your business. The boneless pork chops, the wings, foods in the frozen section, menu items, specials…top notch. And when you use a telephone to place a to-go order, they are kind and friendly. Love this place. You get what you pay for!

  New York Butcher Shoppe & Wine Bar absolutely delivered. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with tomato and arugula, and it was on another level. The patty was perfectly cooked and juicy, the bacon had that ideal crisp, and the fresh arugula and tomato gave it a clean, balanced finish. You can taste the quality in every bite, nothing feels rushed or generic. The service was friendly, the vibe was relaxed, and the whole experience felt intentional from start to finish. This is the kind of spot you look forward to coming back to.

  Second dates can be a bit of a litmus test, and New York Butcher Shoppe & Wine Bar in Cary handled ours with ease. The atmosphere strikes that nice balance between relaxed and refined, where conversation flows without feeling rushed. She went with the filet mignon, cooked medium, and it came out exactly as requested, tender, flavorful, and clearly handled with care. That's what she said. I ordered the chicken pesto entrée, which held its own with a rich, well-balanced flavor that didn't try too hard but delivered where it mattered. Now, the real standout: the Hot Honey Roasted Brussels. Those were done to perfection. Crisp on the outside, tender inside, with just the right touch of sweetness and heat. Frankly, I could eat those daily without a second thought. Service deserves a nod, too. The chef stopped by the table to check in, which we were not expecting. Payton, our server, had a great read on the table, attentive when needed, but gave us the space to enjoy the evening without interruption. That kind of awareness goes a long way, especially on a date. All in, it's the kind of place that quietly does things right. Good food, easy atmosphere, and just enough polish to make the night feel a little special. Definitely a strong choice when you're hoping for a second date that turns into a third.

  My husband and I visited for the first time since we live right across the street and decided to give it a try. The first thing that stood out was their excellent customer service—everyone was welcoming and attentive. We ordered the pork belly, which was crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, paired perfectly with hot honey. For our entrées, I had the steakhouse sandwich—the steak was cooked perfectly, and I really loved the creamy sauce. My husband ordered the steak flight, which came with three different cuts, and each one was high quality and full of flavor. You can tell the owner and staff genuinely care about their customers and the overall experience. We’ll definitely be coming back.

  This place is awesome! The staff is friendly and are very "First Time Customer" accommodating. Nate and Hannah were fantastic at explaining the choices and the portions. The owner answered every silly question we had. I had a steak sandwich and the Vampire Fries. My wife had a loaded bake potato and gouda Mac n Cheese. Everything was perfect. The steak sandwich had the steak cooked to order. It was seasoned and cooked ... well perfectly. It had fresh arugula, fresh seasoned roma tomatoes, and a light dressing. The veggies and dressings made it so the sandwich didn't sit heavy on my stomach. The fries were crispy and light. My wife's potato was cooked just right. The cheese was melted, but not molten lava. The bacon crumbles tasted fresh. The chives were super fresh. The Gouda Mac n Cheese was the second best I've ever tasted. My wife's being the only one that beats it. Everything there quietly said "we care about our food". For the quality and the quantity of the food we are, I was expecting to pay 50% more than we paid.
