  Omg this was so worth it! I had the smoked salmon blt with vampire fries. My dining companions had the burger and the prime rib we all tried it all. Not a bad thing came out of their kitchen. Peyton was our wait staff and as knowledgeable and sweet as can be. Couldn’t have had a better experience !!

  Absolutely amazing!!!! Payton gave us the best service! The burnt ends pork belly was outstanding. The prime rib was out of this world! The burger was the best I’ve had in NC and the Gouda and bacon Mac and cheese was top notch! We will be back over and over! Great job guys!!!! I will tell everyone I know and I wish the greatest success.

  Be sure to bring exact change. I went here for the first time a few days ago and bought about $90 worth of meat. My total came to $90.03. They didn’t have pennies to make change—and apparently didn’t have nickels either. What really surprised me was how concerned the cashier was about collecting the extra three cents. It got to the point that she was going to take a quarter from my granddaughter and give her 20 cents back. I understand businesses have to collect what they’re owed, but after spending $90, I found it a little ridiculous to make an issue over three cents when the business itself didn’t have the change necessary to handle cash transactions properly.

  Tucked away in a strip mall you need to go searching for this place. Inside its like a speciality grocery store meets fresh meat case meets wine bar meets restaurant. Sounds a bit crazy doesn’t it? Walking in the entrance is lined with sauces, rubs, snacks, sodas, and dog treats. Inside further theres a large case to purchase fresh cuts of meat. Across the space are refrigerated units with prepared “to go” items from the menu to cook at home. Next to that is the wine bar with wines on tap and counter seating. And in the center of it all are tables for you to dine at. The food menu offers shareables like wings, stuffed mushrooms, and tuna tartare. There are also salads, flatbreads and sandwiches. Larger plates include beef bourguignon, ribeyes, and lobster Mac& cheese. Weekly specials and a lunch menu are also available. I got the steakhouse sandwhich which had 6oz of steak, arugula, tomatoes, candied onions, horseradish cream , and fresh mozzarella (extra but worth it) on a baguette. It was good but lacked the flavor I was hoping it would have. There wasnt enough meat for the amount of bread in my opinion. It was more onions than anything else. Glad I opted for the fresh mozzarella. The person I was dining with had dined here before and again ordered the crab cake sandwich which she had had before and enjoyed. It was quite large and came topped with coleslaw. Looked more proportioned than my sandwich did. We shared a side of spicy papayas brands which are crispy fried potatoes and harissa. They were ok. Really really deep fried big chunks of potato super crunchy on the outside so much that you needed a knife just to break through. They weren’t spicy and didnt have much flavor aside from the oil fried crispy exterior. While I wasnt a fan, my dining companion liked them. Thinking I may have just chosen poorly. If II go back I’d order differently.
