It wasn’t busy at all when I was in there, only about 3 or 4 occupied tables. After I finished my “kid’s meal “ I brought my toy up to exchange for ice cream and I was given a marker for my table so my ice cream could be brought out to me. After several minutes of waiting and watching the employee talking to other coworkers I waved my hand. An employee who was sitting nearby told me she isn’t allowed to leave the station (I would have happily stayed at the counter for her). Then when I found out the only pedestrian walkways are at the road, no protection getting to or from your car. This chick-fil-A was not planned with safety or ADA in mind. In my mind this chick-fil-A is a bit of a failure.

The cashier, Paula, was rude from the start and gave the impression that she did not want to take our order. When we pulled into the drive-thru, she did not greet us or acknowledge us at all, I had to initiate the conversation and begin placing my order myself. She was standing by the pole and repeatedly stated that she couldn’t hear me. I spoke louder, and she then said the fans were preventing her from hearing me. When I politely asked if she could move a little closer, her response was, “I guess so,” in a clearly unprofessional manner. Throughout the ordering process, she frequently cut me off before I could finish ordering my next item, making the interaction feel rushed and frustrating. Customer service is a big part of what Chick-fil-A is known for, but this experience was the complete opposite of that standard. It certainly didn’t feel like it was “her pleasure” to serve customers. I hope management addresses this situation and provides additional customer service training, as this interaction fell far below the level of professionalism I would expect.
