Great food, great service, clean space, and amazing workers. Tahlil Farah showed great integrity and dedication in making my bowl. The way he scooped the protein to the way he asked politely how we were was amazing. Thank you for hiring this man

We door dashed tonight and it’s the first time the bowls were small. They were all half the size compared to when we go in and buy. We’ve had the bowls delivered before and been happy. But tonight was a big disappointment. $145 for 4 bowls and some pita chips. One bag was missing. Lesson learned.

It's very sad to see what cava has become. Unfortunately, the staff make or break most locations. And it's never been truer, then, at Cava. I'm not sure if it's terrible management that has all the employees feeling unsupported and overworked
But I have been to several cava locations in the Raleigh market and the atmosphere the same. Sullen, dirty unkept ( the person making the dishes had an apron that was absolutely caked
With the full variety of what was being dished up but it was old and crusty) conversation kept a pure basics to order food and rush you to the register and out the door. The utensils and drinking fountain area was also dirty and unstocked and most of the tables and trash in residue from previous patrons. At one point a back of house employee came from the kitchen area assumedly to leave and we had to quickly jump out of his way or he would have the bulldozed my family. The overall impression is that none of the employees want to be there. Nor did they want you to be there either. If you want delicious food with less than a Denny's or Waffle House level of service, this is your place.

The staff here are kind and hardworking! However, management is making their job 10x harder when they allow mobile orders to continue coming in and piling up when there’s clearly not enough workers to keep up with demand. Either schedule more help or turn mobile orders off. These employees don’t deserve DoorDash drivers and customers yelling at them.

I’ve tried to give CAVA the benefit of the doubt more times than I should have, mainly because the food is decent. But at some point, the consistently poor service at the counter outweighs it, and today was that point.
Every visit feels like you’re inconveniencing the staff just by being there. No energy, no friendliness, no sense that anyone actually wants to be there. It’s honestly impressive how consistently unpleasant the experience is.
Today sealed it. The attitude behind the counter was enough to make it clear this isn’t just a bad day, ITS THE CULTURE. If the goal is to make customers feel unwelcome, mission accomplished.
There are far too many Mediterranean spots out there that serve comparable better food and treat people like they actually matter. I’ll be taking my business to one of them.
Good luck
