  I always get the bacon, avocado, egg white sandwich. The last 3 times I have ordered it, the avocado has been so unripe it’s chewy. I do not understand who ever prepared the avocado spread, thought it was acceptable to use avocado that is hard and obviously unripe. So very disappointed and good luck trying to contact the store. I called 4 times and it just rang and rang.

  The food is okay. The entire place is absolutely disgusting though. The tables were all dirty. The floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in a month. My 7 year old spilled a little water on the floor (which I informed the staff of, and didn’t clean up my self with my hands and napkins because the floor looked so disgusting. And it takes one second to mop it). It took the staff a good 10 minutes to come out and mop it up so people were just tracking dirty water all over the store. The bathroom looked like something from a horror movie. Do not recommend. NC Bagels is way better and cleaner. After we ordered they asked us again what we ordered like they didn’t just take our order. Just overall a terrible experience. It also wasn’t busy at all so no excuse there.

  I’m really not sure what had happened to this place or if there are has been an ownership change. I’m giving this review after 3 visits in a few weeks with the same experience. 1. They have plenty of staff working the line but I think their focus is on the take out orders. Even for a simple bagel with cheese, I have had to wait 20/30 minutes. That’s just insane. 2. They have messed up the order, EVERY single time. How can simple basic bagel with cheese or sandwiches get messed up with the simplest instructions??? No excuse. One time fine. But 3 different occasions? 3. Their dining area is always dirty. No one ever comes to wipe down the tables or dirty booths. And they have one tiny trashcan inside and outside that is always filled to the max and overflowing. Every time. I have been coming to this location for over 20 years and I just had to mention the repeated dissatisfaction. I also miss where you could order at the left side and watch them make your sandwiches, def less mistakes then because you could say something. Bagel runs should not take this long. Plz do something. I love this place too much to see it fail like this.

  I recently stopped by Bruegger’s Bagels in Preston, Cary, NC, and had a really enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for fresh bagels, good coffee, and a quick breakfast or lunch spot, this location is definitely worth visiting. From the moment I walked in, the restaurant felt clean, welcoming, and well organized, even during a busy morning rush. The bagels were fresh, soft on the inside, and perfectly baked with just the right texture. You can immediately tell they are made with quality ingredients and prepared fresh. There were plenty of bagel flavors to choose from along with a large variety of cream cheeses, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch options. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and coffee, and both were excellent. The sandwich was hot, flavorful, and filling without feeling overly heavy. One thing that really stood out was the customer service. The staff members were friendly, patient, and worked efficiently to keep the line moving. Even with several customers coming in, the employees remained professional and helpful. The food came out quickly, and everything was prepared correctly. The dining area was also clean and comfortable, making it a nice place to sit and enjoy breakfast or get some work done with a coffee. I appreciated how convenient the location is within the Preston area of Cary, with easy parking and quick access. Overall, I highly recommend Bruegger’s Bagels in Cary, NC for anyone looking for fresh bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, or a reliable breakfast spot. Great food, friendly service, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere make this one of the better breakfast options in the area. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.
