  Normally, this Food Lion is my go-to, given its friendly employees and environment, which is why I would drive out of the way to shop here as opposed to the other 2 Food Lion stores in my area. On 11May26 at 1410 hours, I had a completely different experience with someone who I would assume is a manager when I attempted to ask her a question about a product they had displayed outside the store. I wasn't even able to ask the question before she rudely glared at me and demanded I tell her what I need, as if I was bothering her. She claimed she spoke to me rudely because she "thought I was a vendor," which apparently is also how she talks to vendors. This lady has no business in a management position. All of the young employees that work throughout the store are incredibly professional and polite, so I'd assume they could give this unhappy person some much needed on-the job training. Maybe collecting some carts or mopping the floors would help adjust her attitude.

  I like the store a lot, but I am leaving a review because of a manager named Ella. She was unbelievably kind and patient. All of the employees I encounter are very helpful. Great store.

  I like this Food Lion. It’s very convenient, and is in a strip mall with many nearby useful places- ACE hardware, a cross fit, Duck Donuts, Starbucks, a pet store, McDonald’s, chick-fil-a, and except for during prime cross fit times, plenty of parking as well as easy access to major Olde Raleigh roads and Route 440 to Route 1.
