My fiancé and Dad both got the crab bisque to start with and both had nothing but amazing things to say about the soup.
When it came to the entree we were rather disappointed. My first set of crab legs were great but the second set just had no meat. The seafood mac and cheese was so hot my fiancé couldn’t even eat it. The shrimp was over cooked. We told someone who identified as the Manger about the crab legs, but he just said “ya okay”
I hope this review helps someone as my goal isn’t to bash a restaurant but remind everyone that the restaurant with the most amount of reviews doesn’t mean you should choose that restaurant.
Nothing gr8 here unfortunately… my family’s experience last night was fair at best, oysters 🦪 Rockefeller had shell pieces all up in it, and wasn’t very good tasting @ that… even after spitting out all the shell! We tried the world famous claim chowder and it was fairly good, I’ve definitely had better! What was really bad was I had the seafood boil… it was way over cooked, had to literally fight and dig out every little piece of meat off of the crab 🦀 legs and shrimp due to it being stuck from boiling to long. I wouldn’t recommend or go back. There was a lot of people coming in as we left around 5pm on 6-24-26.
We decided to try one more seafood place, after having a horrible experience at the Lazy Pirate Sports Bar and Grill and not even receiving food after a 3 hour wait.....Michael's is the place to go!! The staff is working together as a team at this establishment and has their system down. The bus boys are helping the waitresses bring out appetizers, dinner and trays for the crab. We had our drinks within 10 minutes and appetizers shortly after. When dinner came out the bus boys brought the dinner out in the order we had ordered, there was no mistake with what food we ordered and the employees had smiles on their face. The food was amazing (I posted photos for you to see, the oysters were to die for, even the kids in our group ate them) the only thing that was still frustrating was the 2 hour wait time, but I would rather pay for great food and service at this establishment rather than the Lazy Pirate Sports Bar and Grill! This establishment will not disappoint your group once you are in and the refills on drinks were plentiful and on time!!

I’m typically not one to leave reviews but felt that this was necessary. The atmosphere was relaxed and generally enjoyable. However the rub came when it came to the table service and general safety. My wife had not only her drink spilled on her by the wait staff, but when they served her entree, the plate’s juices and melted butter was also slopped into her lap and down her shirt. The staff apologized but it was never revisited. Beyond that, I excused myself from the table and a chair leg completely snapped off resulting in me tumbling into my wife’s lap, and subsequently onto the ground. I’m 6’5” and no stranger to less than sturdy furniture but I also learned that this was the fourth such incident in the past week.
I can be understanding but all this issues strung together and not a word from management is something that needs put to words.

The apatizers were phenomenal. We got the sampler and a cup of the chowder and it was absolutely the best (best oysters ever had and I dont even like oysters!).
It seemed like they were very understaffed in both the front and back of the house but everyone was very friendly. We waited 45 minutes to get in but once we did we were seated. The service was very slow, slower than anticipated.
The main courses, we were excited for based on the expereince so far with the appetizers, and it was enough to overlook wait time. We got the stuffed flounder and Fish Market Special - Swordfish. Upon receiving them, our experience became extremely underwhelming.
The garlic mashed potatoes as a side were very good. So was the house cornbread. However, the side of rice had a hair in it. We also ordered a side of the baked Mac and cheese with the flounder but it never arrived (and we did not recieve an explanation to why until we told our waiter we were still waiting and when they said they'd go ask the kitchen and box it up for us to go, the kitchen just said no and we left without our side despite paying for it).
Overall, our expereince here was okay. We had high expectations and as we were reading reviews while we waited for our food we didnt believe the negative reviews - we thought people were just being negative. We didnt think this would turn into a similar expereince to what we just had.
Not worth the wait, not worth the price.
