Waited once for an hour or longer at a table while I watched them fullfil many take out orders. We were the only people in there doing dine in at the time! Have been shorted on pepperoni several times now doing take-out. Had one good experience out of five. Bummer

I brings a group of 20 teens here on a school trip each summer to share the nostalgia of Pizza Hut with them. It’s so fun! The kids love it, the food is excellent, and the service is wonderful. Alex and Anna always take care of us!

Don’t be fooled by the nostalgia trap of the Pizza Hut Classic. People like me, a millennial on vacation with my family, longing for quality family dining of the past, is exactly what the private equity firm that bought the brand (LongRange Capital) is banking on. I fell right into their trap. The place has the overall shape of a classic Pizza Hut until you spend a few minutes looking around and you realize that every element is done as cheaply as possible. Red candle holders? They’ve got them, but they’re made of brittle plastic with a fake battery-powered candle. Salad bar? About 5 feet long with a small number of tiny compartments, and I didn’t see any option on the menu to even use it. There was a single server, and I’m sure she was doing her best, but the food came out in scattered, random order. My side salad showed up about 10 minutes after my pizza. The food is actually kind of fine, as long as you don’t mind being limited to whatever frozen discs of dough they happen to have in the back. We had originally ordered the hand-tossed crust only to be told they were out of it. What kind of world have we entered that a pizzeria runs out of a certain thickness of crust? At the Pizza Hut you remember from the 80s and 90s, the crust was made from dough that they made on location, which their actually trained chefs were able to shape into whatever thickness you wanted. This place operates more like a middle school cafeteria. The staff is trained to pull things out of a series of plastic bags and throw them together. The poor quality of this restaurant is not the fault of the owners. They’re almost certainly franchisees, subject to whatever fees and supplies the faceless LongRange Capital offers them. And this company has no concept of pizza, the dining experience, or anything beyond their balance sheet. Pizza Hut is a brand asset, running on the fumes of nostalgia, that has had all the quality and joy squeezed out of it over the course of decades. Go to a real pizzeria.
