Oskar Blues brewed up its first NC-batch of Dale’s Pale Ale on 12/12/12 and has been crankin’ out fresh OB beer for the East Coast ever since. With an outdoor patio bar, the Tasty Weasel taproom in Brevard, NC is open daily, with the Oskar Blues CHUBwagon food truck on site serving up CHUBurgers and fries to fill your belly. Pisgah National Forest is a 10-minute bike ride away, so go get rad and meet back at the brewery for a pint.

The bartender was helpful in suggesting beers for his flight and the food truck staff were very friendly. The food was great too, I had the omega and omg it was good. Very dog and kid-friendly. My boyfriend really liked the beer too.

Beer was excellent. They have their own food truck onsite. Reasonably priced and, according to multiple folks eating here, food is superb! Open 7 days a week. Indoor and outdoor seating. Large field for events or parties. Live music several days of the week. Kid and dog friendly. Highly recommend.

They advertised the USA game, but it was only shown upstairs on two small TVs with very little volume. We drove 30 minutes with two kids, arrived early, and still couldn’t really watch the game. We also noticed several other families leaving for the same reason. This seems like the perfect spot to host a game watch party, so if you’re going to advertise a match, it would be great to make it accessible for everyone to see and enjoy. Just something for other parents to keep in mind!
