  We decided to take the 1-hour drive from Charlotte to come check this place out. Let me just say, we will be back again and again! Every person that worked there was so incredibly kind and welcoming. We were blown away because we had gotten used to the lack of service in Charlotte. The owners stopped by our table and chatted for a bit like we were long lost friends. It literally was like you just went to your family's house to eat. There was such a great variety of options on the buffet, and we loved the fact that it's served cafeteria style so people aren't digging all in the buffet. The price was very fair for what was offered. We can't wait to go back again! PS: good luck on getting the smoker going 🙂

  The food is delicious! This place was recommended by some friends and it was great! We got to go orders to eat later for dinner.The manager carried our dinners out to the car for us. We really enjoyed it.

  Food was amazing. I'm recently out of the hospital recovering from knee surgery and several strokes. I'm not eating much now, but good old country food was just what I needed. So thank you!

  What a treat! The food is always hot & delicious served with true southern hospitality. This is a "cafeteria style" buffet in that the food is served to you, yet still all you can eat. They feature a salad bar with lots of fixin's, and scrumptious hot foods that are staples of the south. Meatloaf, country steak, chicken & dumplings pork chops, and both baked and fried chicken (my personal favorite) and a whole host of other goodies that rotate throughout the week (you can check them out on Facebook to see what that day's offerings are). There are also a host of side dishes like green beans, mashed potatoes, squash and other goodies just waiting to get in your belly! If after all that you still have room, there are a variety of tasty treats to top off your meal. The portions are generous, and of course all you can eat. Brownies, cookies, hot cobbler, cakes, puddings, and of course soft serve ice cream! Every so often, they will offer a "special dinner" which is usually a ribeye steak. This is truly a family restaurant, with the owner greeting you at the door with a ready smile (actually, they all have these). The other owner works hard serving up the amazing food and making sure you feel welcome. I think their son works in back making the deliciousness. The other ladies who work the buffet are equally friendly and helpful. When the line isn't long, they'll come to your table for drink and food refills. Of equal importance, it is always clean in here. Parking is right in front and can get crowded if it's busy, but there is an overflow lot across the street. Great value for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere.

  My wife always looks for little places to eat on our outings. We stopped here and WOW and AMAZING!!!! If you don't eat here you are missing out. The owner not only shared the restaurant history he brought us to the buffet. He checked on us three times as we ate. The staff on top of it. Everything we wanted taken care of fast with a smile and personable conversation. The food the best I've had on a outing in over 15 years. I've ran restaurants for over 14 years and this place is simple the best I have ever seen!!! If there was more star then 5 I still would double that. Hands down the best. We will be driving here just for this place.
