We finally got to come and grab lunch here and I must say, we were not disappointed!
Wednesday is the burger special and let me tell you something, it's easily THE BEST deal on such a high quality burger that I've ever had, anywhere! The burger was perfectly cooked, seasoned and juicy! Adding bacon and cheese is a must that takes it over the top. The bacon had such a great flavor. The only suggestion I have is they should find a new bun because potato buns don't handle juiciness very well.
The meatball sub was delicious as well, but a little on the skimpy (size) wise. The flavored was excellent, but the quantity of meat inside was a bit small.
The vampire fries were excellent and not too garlicky, so don't be afraid that it'll be too much, because they were perfectly crispy and seasoned.
Service was quick and friendly. Overall, we will absolutely be coming back to try more menu items. I highly recommend giving them a try!

We love coming here for their lunch special. However, the service is mid so if you are in a hurry I would choose differently. We got the some dips to cook at home for a party that night and they were very underwhelming. But that is ok we just had to season it.
We will be back. We love the burger, caprese sandwich, and the glizzys

Came in on a weeknight to try it out and ordered a bunch of stuff. Overall the food was good! Service was friendly but in-attentive after the food came out. No problem on my end though, I just went to the bar and squared up. The causal bottle shop atmosphere makes it a bit confusing anyway.
I wish the place was named something different though... Belmont Butcher Shoppe for instance. Local and high quality meats! A welcome addition to town!
However, putting "New York" in the name sets very specific standards and expectations that truthfully were not met in the dishes I would've expected. The stuffing in the stuffed mushrooms was too soft, and too fine, the flavor of the sausage component indistinguishable. The meatballs were dry and sauced to order.
The sausage isn't quite right either, not enough black pepper and too much parsley.
If the name didn't suggest a flavor profile, all of these things are easily overlooked.
I still give this place a 3/5, and that is just because I don't think the value is quite right yet. With higher prices, comes higher expectations.
The wine selection was clearly not curated by someone who enjoys wine. There is competition in Belmont in this space, and there are cafes with better selection. Not to even mention the long established restaurants...
Oh and I almost forgot, a butcher shoppe, that prides itself as such, shouldn't be using Hormel "real" bacon bits in its roasted broccoli side.
Stopped by the butcher shoppe for the first time this weekend. I will say we almost didn’t come cause we were expecting this to be a reservation type place, but when my husband didn’t see them on resy or open table, he called to inquire and the lady who answered wasn’t very friendly, so that was a little off putting to start things off… we decided to still give it a try and walking in, the people were much nicer. It was seat yourself, also a little unexpected… we walked to the back and found an empty but dirty table so sat there, and a lady came around and cleaned the table eventually. I believe there may just have been two servers so they might’ve been a little busy due to that… we chose the steak dinner option, which I was a little unsure of cause I like to know what I’m paying, but also didn’t really wanna just ask like how much is this steak lol… my husband ordered a baked potato that was not available so he did Cesar salad instead. It was a large portion but served rather warm for salad. I got fries which were really good. The steaks were good, but inconsistent on the temp. We both ordered med rare, his was rare, mine was medium. & his ny strip had more fat than most ny strips do. The steak sauce with them isn’t good in our opinion. We tried it once and sat it aside. It was find without a sauce but that sauce didn’t have much flavor. Overall it was an ok experience. At the end for 2 diet cokes, the 2 steaks, salad and fries was $129 before tip so a little on the pricey side, but not terrible. I wish they just offered steak cuts on the menu with prices that was more transparent.
