  Hands down, best food in Belmont!! NY Butcher is just what Belmont needed, fresh food, friendly staff, great selection of wine and beer (and fresh meat). The casual atmosphere would make anyone feel at home. They have great daily specials on food, you don't have to spend a lot to have a great meal, best burger in town so take advantage of the $8 1/2 pound burger on Wednesday!! Lunch sandwich specials....only $12! Thursdays $10 huge portion of mouth watering lasagna all day!! Or you can splurge and pick your own steak or pork chop from the case cooked to order. The menu has seasonal specials, so you don't get stuck with the same menu all the time. In the latest menu update they added a pork belly and watermelon appetizer....SO GOOD!!! On top of all that, there is a whole section of take home prepared meals, and I've never had anything I didn't like. Bonus, follow their instagram and get the weekly meal special updates... $23 you get an entree and usually bread, salad for two to take home, it's all ready to go! The butchers case is off the charts!! Homemade sausages, marinaded chicken, beef short ribs….and a gourmet market with seasonings, chips, snacks, dog treats, ice cream…..Can't say enough good things about this location in Belmont. You won't be disappointed.

  New York Butcher Shoppe has been such an amazing addition to Belmont, North Carolina. The quality, service, and overall experience are second to none. Belmont is lucky to have a place like this in the community, and especially to have Stephanie there to keep customers coming back! I can’t recommend them highly enough!

  The food was so incredibly delicious. Ordered the Prime NY Strip medium w/ Charred Broccoli. My Dad ordered Prime NY Strip medium w/ Roasted Mushrooms, my Brother ordered Filet Mignon w/ a loaded baked potato. Our Server Ike was absolutely awesome.. Thank you - We finally found our favorite place to Wine & Dine .. will be back 🍻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  What a marvelous addition to Belmont! While waiting for food, was interesting to see meat being cut/prepared and the knowledge given to customers at the counter. Dining area is medium sized and was seat yourself. Waited maybe 5mins before someone brought over utensils and menus. After I ordered, had time to look around refrigerated/freezer prepared meals (depending on family size were some good meal prep options). I had the crab cakes and I'm already planning when to get them again! They were stingy on the lemon...one wegde for two cakes, a shame lol. The mixed greens had a nice light vinaigrette that was really good. Got the roasted mushrooms which were cooked perfectly but I did not care for the flavor (had vinegar tang to it) but cilantro also taste like soap to me so others should try the mushrooms. My mom had the salmon blt and while she said it was great, she did have about 2-3 bones in it. She would still order again because it tasted great. Hopefully this will be a regular visit for me as I didn't even try the dessert! Can't wait to come back 👍🏼

  I normally frequent NYB on Park Rd and was excited to learn of one closer to my home. I entered the Belmont location and none of the workers greeted me upon approaching the counter for a to-go order. They looked at me and then proceeded onto their work but greeted another customer who approached the counter next to me. However Jess came from the back and immediately asked to help me. She hadn’t a clue of how I was feeling or what I’d experienced. She was very kind and attentive. The food is always good and prepared with love, other than not being greeted as others, I’m satisfied with my food.
