  My wife and I have been wanting to have dinner at Marrelli's for quite awhile. We live in Charlotte, but often go to dinner in Belmont. So we decided to have dinner here last night and everything was really spectacular. We had the Italian meatball appetizer with Carbonara and both were spot on! Ordered a pre-dinner Negroni cocktail which was perfectly made and the Tuscan blend wine was a great match with our meal. The service, music and overall atmosphere are all very nice. And the patio seating was perfect for enjoying the nice, cool weather. We will definitely be back soon and have added Marrelli's to our short list of favorite restaurants.

  This place was OFF THE CHAIN! We had such a great dinner from start to finish. Our server was fantastic, the food was awesome, and they even brought out warm bread with seasoned olive oil for dipping — which I love at Carrabba’s — and it was delicious. I had the Aglio e Olio Primavera with blackened chicken, and it was exactly what I wanted: plenty of fresh vegetables, great pasta, and perfectly seasoned chicken without being overly heavy. We also tried one of their THC spritzes with dinner, which was such a cool addition to the experience and had us feeling very relaxed and enjoying the evening. 😂 Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Everything about the night was a win. We will DEFINITELY be back!

  We had such a wonderful experience! Jessica was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, and she made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, and her great service made the evening even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated her hospitality and can’t wait to come back! Michael & Hesper

  ​As a culinary professional, Certified ServSafe Instructor, Food Safety Auditor, and avid food reviewer with over 2 million views on my profile, I maintain high standards when dining out—both for the plate and the kitchen operations behind it. Unfortunately, my recent experience here was an absolute failure in basic food safety and quality control. ​Midway through our meal, we found a 12-inch strand of hair packed directly into the food. A physical contaminant of that length is a clear breakdown in FDA Food Code 2-402.11 (Headwear and Beard Restraints) compliance and reflects a lack of active managerial oversight on the line. ​What made the experience worse was the management response. When brought to the manager’s attention, instead of taking immediate accountability for a back-of-house breach, she attempted to deflect by claiming they "don't have any female staff in the kitchen so she doesn't know how it could have gotten there." ​As anyone in food safety knows, hair length is not dictated by gender, and improper hair/beard restraints or cross-contamination at the pass apply to all staff handling food. Deflecting blame rather than acknowledging a clear sanitation failure shows a concerning lack of operational standards. ​While the item was taken off the bill—the bare minimum expected—the dismissal of standard health code protocols completely ruined our dining experience. I hope ownership uses this as an opportunity to retrain both their kitchen team on proper hair containment and their management on professional accountability. I take no pleasure in leaving negative feedback, but as a food safety professional, transparency and public health awareness come first.

  We had such a wonderful experience at Marrelli’s Italian Restaurant! We were there to celebrate my grandson’s 16th birthday, and it was the perfect place for our family celebration. The owner was absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The food was delicious, and the entire staff was friendly, attentive, and made our evening even more special. I can’t remember the names of the two people who waited on our party, but they were both excellent and took such great care of us. It’s always nice to find a restaurant where the food is great, but the people make the experience even better. We truly enjoyed our evening and would definitely recommend Marrelli’s to anyone looking for a great Italian restaurant. We’ll be back! ❤️🍝
