I flew into town from California to visit my aunt and uncle who are local. They suggested this bar/restaurant for an after dinner drink. We initially had a bad first impression that came from the male host which resulted in us being ignored for a bit. Thankfully, the MUST SEE view paired with the well executed cocktails warmed us up, the server(we were told she was the most senior server) provided incredible customer service and was very personable. To round off the impressive experience the manager caught wind of our first impression because she was so aware of her floor and made the initial situation right. Impressive. If you’re local or in town, definitely stop by! *drinks only review *
We had an amazing dinner at Wildwood Still for our recent anniversary. Start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Our server, Chloë, made it a perfect night for us, complete with a desert surprise she had requested for us. While it might be a while before we return to Asheville, we want to personally thank Chloë for helping to make our night perfect. Dinner was outstanding, and definitely the place to go for Chilean Sea Bass. Thanks to all of you, Wildwood Still!

Went to Wildwood Still for the first time last night. What a great experience. Beautiful views, great food, cocktails and great service! Our server, Ari, was very friendly and helpful with our selections. We had the calamari/shrimp to begin with and then had small plates of dumplings, mushrooms and oysters! All perfectly seasoned and delicious. Plus you can't beat the views! Wow. Great evening....the only thing I'm not a big fan of is the hand held machine to check out. It's always intimidating and can never really review what you had and feel pressured to pick a tip value asap. This has nothing to do with the overall dining experience at the restaurant...it's just that I don't like the way some places use this method when paying the bill.
Absolutely Beautiful Views!! Venue was loud, server could barely hear to take our orders.
Service was friendly:)
We started with a few appetizers (oysters, ribs, calamari & shrimp and bread service).
Oysters were not good and didn’t seem super fresh. Calamari and shrimp breading was falling off and really had no flavor. Ribs were too salty for most of my party but I ate them because I like salty- needed lots of water afterwards though. Bread was tasty and drinks were good. We decided that we would not order entrees after the disappointing appetizers. Would come again but only for a drink and the view.

I could just live on their patio. The mountain views are crazy good.
We took our son here for a birthday dinner. It did not disappoint. He absolutely loved it. We sat on the patio (the indoors was gorgeous as well, with a large fireplace) overlooking the mountains. So we had the ambience. Not to mention, halfway through dinner, there's fireworks (whatttt????). Then we order our meal. The birthday boy ordered duck buns, hubby steak tartare, and I got edamame. All were good but the buns were agreed to be the best.
We got the NY strip steak which BB loved! Hubby got the wagyu smash burger and said it was excellent. I got the hand made dumplings in vodka sauce. It was pretty good. Since we were rushing to a show, the staff was very helpful in getting everything packed up quickly and a quick checkout.
I will definitely go back here.
