Drove in late from Cincinnati and was staying at a hotel next door - did a pick up order at 9 PM. Food was on time and still warm which is honestly hard to come by lately. Food was great and the employee who brought our food out was friendly and attentive. Would recommend this location.

Depending on meal time as to noise, service, hot food. Sometimes sweet potatoes are very small. Always plenty of open tables. Seems the older you are the further they put you toward the back. Not thinking you might rather have a less of a walk the older you are.

We ordered a 20oz bone in medium well and it came to the table medium. We ate around the red parts because the waitress never came back to check on us until we stacked our plates. The steak had great flavor just undercooked . We will go back but will check the steak while the waitress is there to make sure it’s correct

I placed an order on DoorDash. My food came with the steak hidden under the fries and no dressing for my salad. I called the restaurant and spoke to Jason. He told me too bad and if I had a problem with the dressing to contact DoorDash????? I spent $40 on the this order and was treated like I stole it. What a disappointment. Why would a manager point me to doordash when his team clearly messed up? And why such an attitude when I called?

Wanted to like this venue. Been to other outbacks which were a much better experience. Server was nice, but I assume new, and issues associated with service were, assumed, due to that. Ordered a salad with salmon as the protein. Salad was all iceberg lettuce and some cherry tomatoes. Underwhelming. Serving size was adequate. Ordered salmon medium rare. Arrived well done and tasted as if it were 'fresh frozen' instead of fresh. Definitely not fresh. Dinner companion in ordered chicken and shrimp fettuccine pasta. It just did not taste food. Sauce was overwhelming, shrimp were barely cooked. Chicken- dry. All the proteins, salmon, shrimp and chicken were overly seasoned. Great if you like salt. It was my fault that I did not return the meal, but I don't tend to do that in restaurants. My catch phrase for a dining experience like this was 'I've been there twice- first and last time. There was a heavy set older gentleman who looked like he sort of managed the place. He was exceptionally charming and sweet. He helped the experience. Beyond that, no one who worked there looked happy, except the older gentleman. Again, been to other Outbacks and my experiences there were significantly better. But this is the only game in Asheville for this venue. One last thing- almost across the street from Outback is Longhorn steak house. They have the best, freshest salmon I've eat in Asheville (obviously, I am not a foodie :-) If salmon is what you want, highly suggest you try that venue over this one. Never been disappointed going there. And the only reason I went to Outback was to try a different experience. My bad.
