- LGLinne Gilbert1 day ago5.0When I walked into this place today, for the first time, I was just stunned at the gorgeous counter presentations, the tasteful decor, and the extremely wide range and variety of proteins that were available at this truly authentic upscale gourmet butcher shop, it is just fabulous! I only wanted to get some bones for homemade beef broth, but I got so so much more. If you are looking for high quality meats and proteins that you can't really find at the grocery store like liver pate, whole duck, veal cutlets, or gorgeous racks of lamb, this is your store! Their selection of seafood was mouthwatering...their big fat homemade crab cakes are a thing of beauty! Their ground beef is the most delectable I ever seen ($1 off per pound on Tuesdays!!) They also have about 10 different pre-made gourmet meals you can just pick up, take home and reheat. Tons of interesting spices and condiments, a fabulous wine section and even a whole wall dedicated to healthy protein snacks and chews for your pups. If you are a fine dining "foodie" who also loves to cook, this place is the Chef's Kiss --- you'll love ❤️ it!

I drive here from Sylva on special occasions to make sure I get good steaks. Their pork chops are thick cut and so delicious on the grill paired with their seasonings. They also provide samples of any of their seasonings and reasonably large ones, one sample usually seasons both steaks. Highly recommended (:
