Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JHJason Hoke1 day ago5.0First time trying Whataburger, was not sure what to expect. I ordered the the bacon and cheese whataburger meal. Not the cheapest at a bit over $15, but a very good meal. Everything was hot and fresh and it was not a small burger like at McDonalds. It had good flavor and I liked that the cheese was actually melted and not just sitting on top of the patty. Staff was friendly, the inside was clean, and it was an overall good experience. Will definitely be back.

She also acted like she had no idea what she was doing. Never touching whack burger again just go to chick fil a or dairios
- JBJamie BushJun 27, 20265.0The inside is always clean. The workers are always very friendly they greet you as you come in. They bring the food to the table for you. Great prices, and the food tastes fresh. Easy access in and out of the parking lot. Plenty of parking as well.

I enjoyed it very much came out here with my granddaughter and I mainly speak Spanish so it was very helpful having someone that works there being bilingual and the service was great and I enjoyed my time there.
- PSPhilip StetsonJun 22, 20261.0So the drive thru is empty and I place my order. Burger fries and coke. After I pay about a minute goes by and the girl opens the window and says pull up. There is nobody in line behind me and she says you just need to pull. I oltold her no. She got the manager and she said its because they are being timed on how fast they complete and order. I told than she need to hurry up because I am not moving. Within another 30 seconds she hands me my order. So if time is you measurement for service, I would suggest finding another way to measure performance. This store has been the worst what a burger I have ever gone to. I am from Texas and this place would never make there. I don't think it will make here either, because like I said there was nobody in line. That should tell you all uou need to know.
