  Great Food Lion in Apex! Joyce and the management are good folks. The employees are good folks. Not as well laid out as I'd hoped.. I do run into the occasional problem of an item being out of stock or something. I do enjoy shopping here!

  The cashier was very rude. Did not speak or ask any questions I’ve been in this Food Lion over hundreds of times and it’s always been friendly always greeted with a nice greeting from the cashier to people bagging up the food. This is my first time experiencing cashier that was rude. Did not speak when spoken to and was carrying our conversations with the bagger and was not paying attention to bag in my food correctly.

  Their deli counter is so slow. The person is sweet but too slow for a busy location. There were 5 people behind this one guy wanting to try everything and kept looking back at the line each time people got annoyed then would look forward “thank you for your time”. If there is more than one person in line- call for help or get a manager over here. I waited 15 minutes before leaving. I know it didn’t help that I’m 3 days post op for gallbladder removal but it shouldn’t take that long to get a pound of meat.

  Good prices but not the nicest of grocery stores. In the local area, the competition is fierce among Harris Teeter, Publix, Lowes and Wegman’s. The shopping experience at Food Lion does not come close to those
