I stopped in after getting an incorrect order from another Dunkin location. The espresso in my drink tasted burnt, and my hash browns had strange fiber-like material on them that made me uncomfortable eating them. I came to this location specifically because I trusted they would handle it better. I was polite and simply asked if it would be possible to remake the items. While they did remake the drink, the interaction around the hash browns was dismissive and unprofessional. After asking about them, I was told to pull forward, and as I was leaving I could hear staff speaking angrily about the situation and saying I was crazy for requesting a remake instead of addressing it directly with me. As someone who works as a barista myself, I understand that remakes, especially for quality concerns, are a normal part of the job, which is why the reaction I received was surprising. I completely understand policies about different locations, but the manager’s response felt unnecessarily frustrated when a simple explanation or polite refusal would have been enough. Really disappointing experience from a location I normally rely on.
