  I’ve been going to this store for 20+ years, sometimes multiple times a week. Went yesterday and had $11 worth of coupons. I handed them to the cashier first thing. Got my order paid for and he informed me he forgot to ring up my coupons. Probably because he was too busy trying to talk to the cashier one isle over while ringing up my order. He sent me to customer service for my money. That young man couldn’t find the items on the receipt that the coupons were for, even though two of the three items were the first ones rang up. I had to go through my bags to show him I had actually purchased them. Then I get home and realize I didn’t get the one item I was having for dinner. Called to talk to the manager, held 9 minutes and 53 seconds and was hung up on. Went back, got my item, was offered a $20 gift card ( not thanks) but no apology. Now this morning I realize there is another item missing. If you go here make sure you check your bags before you leave! I’m done with this location! Hire competent adults Food Lion!

  Christian at the deli is awesome. He always slices my deli meats and cheeses super thin. Just the way I like. He is so friendly and helpful. I try to hit the deli on days he is behind the counter

  Was in there on July 5, 2026 at around 5pm and the woman behind the deli counter was slicing meat and we asked her to help us very politely and she ignored us. We asked again 2 more times speaking directly to her and she still was unresponsive like we weren't there. We walked away. I thought that they improved the Deli Department recently. We have been shopping there for over 20 years and noticed a recent attempt to re-train and bring in new people but It has only gotten worse. Each experience is worse than the last. The meat is never sliced correctly.. As if asking for it extra thin is creating extra work for these people. Most everyone else is nice however, incompitent workers disrespecting long standing customers is never good for business.

  This store is great for an in person shopping experience, but I will never place a pick up order here again. I once did a pick up order due to my crying baby and rainy weather, waited 30 minutes (EVEN AFTER CALLING) and when they finally came out they left my trunk open and gave no apology. Next gripe, they always put my bread/eggs at the bottom of a heavy bag. Final gripe, they have very poor communication as far as what they are out of. They will choose substitutions not even remotely similar to what I ordered, and not send any communication regarding what they picked via the app. This is probably the 5th time my weekly grocery haul has been ruined and I just can’t anymore with this place🤦🏼‍♀️
