Laughably bad, and everything costs twice as much as you'd pay somewhere with really good food.
"Very authentic!", say the reviewers eating ground beef tacos.

Eating here was like reading Cormac McCarthys Blood Meridian. Brutal, unflinching, and while you likely won't enjoy it, it's impossible to come away unchanged. By the meal’s end I found myself staring into the middle distance, wondering what sin I had committed to warrant God’s abandonment. The tacos al carbon arrived in soft flour tortillas, limp and pallid. The meat was hot and charred, the pico ice cold and soaking wet, a temperature and texture contrast at once cruel and violent. The tortillas turned into wet paste, disintegrating under the weight of their own moisture. Having to resort to my fork, each bite was a small tragedy, a reminder that not all suffering is dramatic. Some of it is served on a plate, resigned. If Blood Meridian is a chronicle of violence, then this taco was its culinary sibling. A bleak, joyless march across a landscape devoid of mercy. I did not eat a meal. I simply endured.
My family always likes going here at least once every week or so for dinner. The food has always been good and the service is very fast. Prices are also what you would expect in current year. I can confidently say I've never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend.

I arrived and saw the sign on the door about waitstaff, busboy needed. I though uh oh. I wasnt in a hurry so I thought id give them a chance. The wait to get a menu wasnt bad. Another fifteen minutes go by till the very busy waiter takes my order. A younger busboy gives me chips n salsa and water doesnt ask what I want to drink. So i get my food around 25 - 30 minutes from arriving. I count a man and another woman as waitstaff for about ten tables of customers w the help of busboy. The salsa was actually good. It had a hint of something you usually dont taste. Maybe lime or another herb but it was good. Chips were standard. I got chicken enchiladas w green sauce they were good. Ive lived in California and been to Mexico a few times so I know good Mexican food. This was pretty good and it wasn't just thrown together. You can tell they care about food quality. So in review, I understand being understaffed and doing the best they can. The food was good. The rice and beans were pretty standard fare. The enchiladas were good. Nothing fancy but better than most places. They were understaffed and I hope they get it worked out. I dont know if its a wage thing but I hope they get it worked out.
