  As the reviews suggest, this place is highly loved by the non-Indian crowd which proves the high standards of this place. After a full day of hiking at the GNP, we went there to take away our dinner. The hotel looked very nice and clean however we didn’t use it. We ordered: Chilly Chicken, Chicken Himalayan Biryani, Garlic Naan and Lamb Vindaloo. All the food was delicious and very affordably priced. Especially the Chilly Chicken and the Lamb Vindaloo. Awesome food. Awesome place.

  Himalayan kitchen is hands down one of the best restaurants in the valley if not the best! The food is outstanding, served hot and fresh. The staff is so friendly, kind and prompt wether we pick up or take out and always make us feel very welcome. The mango lassi is the best we've ever had as is the chai tea. Everything we have ordered has been delicious and we always have leftovers which tastes as good the next day as it did the day we ordered it. Thank you staff for making every visit awesome!

  One of the two Indian restaurants in Kalispell - a solid pick if you're heading to Glacier National Park and craving Indian food. They also offer Vegetarian and Jain options, which is a nice plus if you're traveling with dietary restrictions. We ordered the Dal Makhani, which was good, along with Paneer Kadai and Paneer Butter Masala. The Paneer Kadai was the better of the two - good, accurate spice level. The Paneer Butter Masala's gravy had a pretty vivid, almost unnaturally bright color. On the side we had naan and tandoori roti, and the dal and paneer both came served with rice. We also tried the Samosa Chaat, which was just okay - honestly couldn't find any samosa in it. Since we went close to closing time, they were out of chai. Overall a decent option in the area, though the Paneer Butter Masala could use some work.

  We were a group of 9 looking for some good Indian food in the Kalispell/Whitefish area and decided to try Himalayan Kitchen. We’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely awesome, and the service was even better. We tried Samosa Chaat, Chicken Pakora, Chicken Tikka Masala, Kadai Chicken, Goat Curry with naan, and Chicken, Veg, and Goat Biryani. Everything we ordered tasted so good! Everyone in our group really enjoyed the food. What impressed us the most was the incredible customer service. The next day, we went on a 10-mile hike, and all of us wanted to have the same food again. However, the restaurant was scheduled to close at 9 PM, and our estimated arrival back from the hike was around 10:30 PM. We called and placed our order, and one of the staff members was incredibly kind and patient. He actually waited 1½ hours after closing for us to return and made sure we got our food. That level of hospitality and dedication is truly rare and was greatly appreciated by all of us. Thank you, Himalayan Kitchen, for the amazing food and outstanding service. Please keep this kind of hospitality and food quality going. We will definitely be back whenever we’re in the area!

  Visited from Seattle with my family and ended up eating from Himalayan Kitchen for 4 out of the 5 days of our vacation! We had low expectations for small-town Indian food, but they completely proved us wrong. The Food: • What we ordered: Dal Makhani, Mutter Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala, Chana Masala, Samosas, Roti, and Garlic Naan. Everything was 10/10! • Must-try: The Himalayan Sweet Naan is incredible. • Spice: Low would be bland, but medium was just right for us. Go for high if you want to test your limits! • Hiking fuel: We packed our leftovers in a cooler for our trips down Going-to-the-Sun Road. It tasted amazing even after a day and a half! The Value & Service: • Compared to Seattle, this place is a steal. The amount of food that costs us $180+ back home was only $70 here. • Service is lightning-fast—phone orders are ready in 15 minutes max. • Money-Saving Tip: Order over the phone instead of online to save 10% on third-party markup fees! The restaurant inside is a bit dimly lit and basic, but the service makes up for it and there is plenty of parking. We tried Namaste Montana on Monday when Himalayan was closed, and it just didn't compare. If you're in Glacier and want solid, comforting food that keeps you full on hikes without breaking the bank, look no further!
