  Not the friendliest group of employees and store struggles to get all of their products in the limited space. I still like supporting them, though.

  This place didn’t just go downhill—it drove off a cliff. It starts before you even walk through the doors. The parking lot has been allowed to deteriorate into what amounts to a sponsored homeless encampment, complete with a makeshift “lounge” built from what appears to be construction materials. I have personally witnessed open drug use and people using the parking lot as a bathroom. Apparently, this is now considered an acceptable environment for paying customers to walk through before buying their groceries. Then you make it inside, where somehow the experience gets worse. The deli department has become an absolute embarrassment. Customer service appears to be treated as an optional part of the job. Asking for assistance can make you feel like you have committed some unforgivable offense by interrupting whatever the employees would rather be doing. Customers aren’t treated like customers—they’re treated like nuisances. And then there’s the manager. He has been there less than a year, and from the beginning I have personally experienced and witnessed an astonishing level of hostility, contempt, and outright rudeness toward customers. I have watched him interact with people as though their mere presence irritates him. Apparently, someone forgot to explain that customers aren’t an unfortunate side effect of running a grocery store—they are the reason the doors stay open and the paychecks clear. But perhaps the condition of the deli department shouldn’t be surprising. Employees take their cues from leadership. When the person at the top openly treats customers like an inconvenience, why would anyone underneath him behave differently? Rotten leadership produces rotten customer service. At this point, the problem isn’t one rude employee or one bad interaction. It appears to have infected the culture of the store. When contempt for customers becomes normal, eventually those customers stop coming. I spent my money here because I expected a functioning grocery store—not an obstacle course through a parking-lot encampment followed by employees and management acting offended that customers had the audacity to walk through the door. Management above this location needs to take a serious look at what has happened here. When cancer is allowed to grow unchecked, eventually it spreads. This store desperately needs someone willing to cut it out.

  they have quality products if you can navigate through the deceptive advertisements for sale items and avoid getting double or triple charged.
