  We’ve been working our way through the Mexican restaurants in Helena, and this was the last one on our list. While it isn’t my favorite, there were definitely some things we enjoyed. The prices were very reasonable, the portions were generous, and much of the food had good flavor. When we walked in, the white entrance doors stood out because they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while. It’s a small detail, but first impressions do matter. The chimi birria had flavorful meat, but the chimi itself wasn’t crispy at all. It was very soggy. The enchilada was actually pretty tasty. The rice was okay, while the beans were very dry. The Big Bite Platter was supposed to come with two flautas and two taquitos, but instead we received four taquitos and no flautas. The quesadilla was good. The nachos were a little disappointing. They didn’t have any real melted cheese or queso, just what tasted like inexpensive canned nacho cheese. We also ordered fried jalapeños along with our meal, and we enjoyed them. The red salsa was okay but had a noticeable aftertaste that wasn’t our favorite. The green salsa was much better and was one of the highlights of the meal. The agua fresca de jamaica had a very strange flavor and unfortunately wasn’t drinkable for us. Overall, the food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair. We did enjoy several of the dishes and would recommend trying it for yourself to form your own opinion.

  We have been going here over the summer and everything we have tried is delicious. Today I tried the crab enchiladas and they were delicious! I’m not usually a fan of enchiladas, either. My daughter always gets the birria fries and says they are so good. The margaritas as ginormous. The chips and salsa are good. The people are friendly and it’s a pretty cozy little place. It’s our new favorite Mexican restaurant.

  We eat here regularly and love the delicious food served in generous portions, margaritas are a balanced blend of flavor and alcohol, the service always fast and friendly and we never have to wait for a table.

  Everyone is always so sweet and the service is always amazing! The food is FANTASTIC and definitely somewhere i recommend going after a day out on the town(or out of town)!

  OMG! I REALLY DON'T WANT TO GIVE AWAY MY FISHING HOLE BUT OMG! I CAN'T REMEMBER THE LAST TIME I'VE HAD ANY BETTER MEXICAN FOOD OR DESSERTS. WE DECIDED TO START OFF LITE, I GOT FAJITAS AND SHE GOT A COMBINATION RELLANO AND ENCHILADA. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE WERE BOTH SHARING EACH OTHER'S FOOD. EXCELLENT! NOW IT BRINGS US TO DESSERT. THEY HAVE A FLAWN THAT IS TO DIE FOR SO CREAMY IT MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH I KID YOU NOT. THE NEXT DESSERT IS THEIR FRIED ICE CREAM...OMG AGAIN! I TALKED TO THE WAITRESS WHO WAS SPOT ON AND ASKED HER ABOUT THE COOK AND SHE SAID HE WAS FROM GUADALAJARA. I SAID YEP IT SURE TASTES LIKE IT... VERY GOOD. SO IF YOU GUYS WANT SOME REALLY GOOD MEXICAN FOOD I SUGGEST YOU HIT THIS PLACE UP ESPECIALLY THE DESSERTS, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. NOW I'LL PROBABLY HAVE TO WAIT 45 MINUTES TO GET IN THE DOOR LOL! THIS PLACE DEFINITELY DESERVES ITS ACCOLADES THOUGH.
