  5 out of 5. I chose River and Range Bistro for a "Blind date" for my wife and me. Chef Drew met with me before they were open, stopped what he was doing and discussed his food and accommodations. That evening, Heaven, our waitress, was in on our “blind date” as well, and played along, making the night pure magic. We had the pesto gnocchi, unbelievably spectacular from taste to texture. My wife had the New York strip, and it was cooked exactly how she likes it and was marvelously seasoned. I had the duck tortellini... and oh my gosh! Chef Drew is true to his mission. The food was made from scratch, the flavors expertly combined to create a flavor experience unlike anything I’ve experienced in Great Falls, or Montana for that matter. Thank you so much! You definately went above and beyond and made our special night an event we will never forget. We will most assuredly be back.

  My husband and I decided to go on a "blind" date and he made reservations for us here. I'm so glad he did! Everything was so delicious! The pesto gnocchi were soft pillowy potato goodness covered in the most amazing warm creamy pesto. My husband had the special which was duck tortellini and after every bite said "this is so good!" I had the steak and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The mashed potatoes were amazing. We also had the bread pudding and it was to die for! Our server, Heaven, was so attentive and the most genuinely sweet person. She made our night incredibly special. Chef Drew has a passion for what he does and was so approachable. He really knows what he's doing! We will most certainly be back!

  Food was great! Perfectly cooked fish, homemade pasta and everything was perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere of this place was so strange…the only way I can describe it is bizarre. The chairs reminded me of a banquet. The blinds were not inviting. I really can’t wait to see how they grow because the food is phenomenal. I can’t wait for a more comfortable and inviting space.

  Best food in great falls hands down! Everything is locally sourced and the staff are amazing. Great place for a special event or if you just want good food! Highly recommend everyone to this delicious restaurant
