- JCJosh CogginsSep 10, 20261.0Just going to share my experience this afternoon. Ordered two sandwiches for delivery online. I was called and told the order was delayed because they had to cook more bread, which is totally fine. I understand that sort of thing happens so no big deal. I waited a few hours and called the store back because I figured it had been long enough of a delay. They said it must have been a delivery mix up or something like that and they would remake it. Again no big deal, but a little annoying. They sent the second order to the correct address and I got the usual text with a picture of food at the front door(didn't get that picture on the first supposed delivery). 10-15 minutes later the store calls me essentially saying that the first order had been delivered to my house to begin with (at least according to the driver). This was a total lie, as I was home the whole time at my desk waiting for the order and would have absolutely known if it had been delivered. You have to walk right by the front window by my work desk to deliver it and I was working the whole time waiting for lunch. If there was any doubt I would not be writing this. Also, keep in mind that this second call from the store came as I was eating my sandwich that had been delayed for 3-4 hours at this point. The second phone call didn't end with an apology or anything. If anything, it felt like it was being suggested that I took the first order and lied to get two more sandwiches out of it or something. I've ordered from this same location a tone so it would be sort of strange for me to start doing that now for a couple of $5.99 turkey sandwiches. This irritated me after I tipped the driver like 24% online and didn't complain about the afternoon long delay at all. Still like the food, hence the four stars.
