Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

A worker came in and sat her shoes on the actual counter while she was barefoot or something like that and was rude. It was a scary Whataburger. My daughter did not eat her fries after seeing this. This place was just a stopping point on way back to Dallas. Never again.

- MAMelissa AdamsJun 2, 20261.0Almost as bad as McD’s with the milkshake machine being out of service. Is it really out of service, or are they just too lazy to clean it? Guess we’ll never know. They were also out of onion rings and cheese lol. My 10yo is a fan of Whataburger, but I can’t even take them seriously anymore. This 49 location use to be good, but it has gone downhill….. FAST… hopefully someone will do something about it before it’s too late.

When they finally came out the lady was rude and not smiling or anything. I ordered my burgers and was told they were out of onion rings. When I I got on the road and went to eat my first burger I found it only had onions and pickles. No lettuce or tomato. I was not told they were out of those. The burger patty didn't even fit the bun. There was an inch of bun all the way around with no patty. When I called to talk about why my meal was this way the manager told me they received too big of buns. Would not replace the meal that I paid almost $18 for. When I got home I took a picture of the other burger and it is just as bad. Looks like someone took a bite out of the patty. This Whataburger is horrible and needs new management and staff.
