- ESEthan Smith2 days ago4.0Food and atmosphere is good as always, but the service was not. I’ll straight up say that the woman who took my order was kind and accommodating, and the complaint is not her fault. I came at 2 in the afternoon during a non busy time of day and during this time I know the Mac and cheese is most likely not going to be fresh. For context, they leave the Mac and cheese out for either 1 1/2 or 2 hours (I believe 1 /12 is more accurate) before they have to throw the rest away and put in a fresh one. There is a major difference in quality compared to the fresh ones vs ones that’s been left out for that long, and so that affects my decision on whether I am going to get it or not. I asked her if she could ask the kitchen how long the Mac and cheese has been out because they can leave it out for over an hour (this should take about 20 seconds and I wouldn’t ask this if it was busy, I know it can get stressful). She said of course and went away for about a minute and a half and then came back to say something along the lines of “ at Chick-Fil-A our food is always made ready fresh”, which is frankly a complete non-answer. That’s not what I asked for, that is not the answer to my question whatsoever. I know you make it fresh, I’ve worked there, but you also leave the food out for up to a specific period of time you throw it out like any other restaurant. The chicken being out for up to 20 minutes ain’t that bad, the fries being out for up to 5 minutes isn’t that bad (although i remember people will leave it out longer sometimes but that’s I different issue) and leaving the Mac and cheese out for over an hour is still edible but drastically different than how it is fresh. This is likely her manager telling her what to say instead of giving a straight answer so again, not on her. This isn’t asking for personal business information or something that takes forever to figure out, it’s pertinent information on the food you are wanting the customer to buy and eat, It’s pure corporate dodging and borderline lying about your food. There is zero reason not to give the answer unless you want to present a false image and obfuscate the truth. Chick-Fil-A prides itself on following biblical principles, and yet they were deceitful about something as simple and relevant as how long their food has been out.

One night I drove to the Chick-fil-A in Petal instead of the one in West Hattiesburg. We got our food and when we went to leave, my friend, reminded me we didn’t get our drinks. I got out of the car to get our drinks and was looked at like I was crazy because the young lady wouldn’t just open the door and asked me what I needed. I was sign languaging drinks to her. Then after I drove all the way home from Petal back to downtown Hattiesburg, I found out that I was charged for a 12 count nugget and only given eight. So to fix this problem, I called Chick-fil-A service, which took me about 15 minutes to get talk to an actual person and he assured me that they would call me back and we would try to fix the issue at hand. I got a call back while I was asleep. When I tried to call Them back I ended up going through the same answering machine. So after the inconsistency and the seeming of not wanted to make up for the inadequate service. I’m just here to leave this.
