Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. Thursday, August 7, 2026 We arrived around 4:30 p.m., and the restaurant was completely empty. There were several employees behind the counter, but no one greeted us. One employee was on his phone while others were doing various tasks. We stood at the counter for about three minutes before we were acknowledged. The employee working the counter was busy cleaning and restocking food-prep areas. At nearly the five-minute mark, she told us she would be right with us, but instead continued with other tasks, bringing out a rice bin, transferring leftover rice into the new bin, and placing it on the line. We continued waiting while she then moved on to cleaning the queso and salsa area. We finally asked if someone was going to help us. After about six minutes of standing at the counter with no other customers in the restaurant, we decided to leave. As we walked away, she said, “Wait, I was going to help you.” I genuinely believe she meant it, and I want to give her credit because she was clearly the only employee who was actually working. She was not on her phone or standing around, she was cleaning, restocking, and trying to keep the restaurant in order. Unfortunately, no one else stepped in to help her or us. Every table in the restaurant was also dirty, which added to the disappointing experience. There was no manager visible, or if one was present, they certainly weren't helping the employee who was doing her best to keep things moving. We would have stayed and ordered if someone had simply stopped to take our order. However, waiting six minutes at an empty counter while watching tasks that were not urgent take priority made us feel that our business wasn't important. I don't blame the counter employee entirely. In fact, I commend her for working while everyone else seemed disengaged. The bigger issue was the lack of teamwork, customer service, cleanliness, and management presence. Hopefully, management will take a closer look at what is happening during slower periods. A customer should never have to stand at an empty counter for six minutes wondering if anyone is going to take their order.

First time trying Chipolte. It was pretty good and they have vegan protein options.

It’s pretty disappointing to have to pay for chips only for them to be stale. That’s unacceptable.

I placed an online order for 2 bowls. The food tasted burnt, toppings were placed on the wrong bowl, and the portions were smaller than usual. I called the restaurant and the manager said he can only replace 1 bowl because they are only allowed to replace one item on the ticket. I had to call corporate to get it fixed. Highly disappointed and I will never return.
