Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I asked if this was something they can make. I received no response. I waited. Someone else drove up, and they began to take their order. I left. Please teach better customer service.

Tonight, I had to call the restaurant to get them to take our order after waiting in the line and being repeatedly skipped over. 6 to 7 cars had their orders taken before my order. Several cars.drove off without ordering. If any other restaurant in the area was open, I would have left also.
- JBJesse BluntJun 5, 20261.0Our first Whataburger experience and it was more like Whatabummer. 2:30pm in the afternoon and our four-person order took a half hour, was missing drinks, condiments…food was edible, but when you’re that disappointed with service it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. Drive through was moving steadily while we sat dumbfounded. Not even a full sentence of acknowledgement from the staff and no apology or follow up. We’ll go to Burger King next time. This place was trash.
