Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JCJerry CowandSep 9, 20265.0In town to visit with family and never ate at a whataburger before. What a great 1st experience! Staff was friendly and very helpful. To help reduce gluten, they made a burger in a wrap, what a home run! The young lady taking orders was never on her phone as so many are these days. If she found a lul in the pace she was out front cleaning the dinning area and making contact with people making sure everything was alright. The burger was huge I ordered 2 and took 1 home. The fries were GREAT, skinny shoe string type that were tender inside with a crunch outside and from the taste the oil was fresh. Wish we had one of these back home.

The entire place was so clean, including the bathrooms. A staff member noticed my children and husband walking to the car to leave, ran out, and gave them one of their free merchandise necklaces!
