  Taking 20 minutes to order and get food is crazy. Telling EVERY car to pull around is crazy and cheating on the times. Then I didn't get a straw with my drink, turns out it doesn't come with one. Imagine if I was pulled to window and got my food there like I am supposed to, I wouldn't have had to get out of the car in the drive though. Between this place and the one in Long Beach, I don't know which one is worse.

  If I could give this McDonald's negative stars, I would happily do it with a smile. This place has officially mastered the art of looking efficient while being completely useless. You pull into the drive-thru and think you’ve struck gold—no cars in line. For a brief, beautiful moment, you believe in miracles. Then you get to the window, they tell you to “pull forward,” and suddenly you discover the hidden level of this nightmare: 14 cars scattered like a post-apocalyptic parking lot. Cars on the side of the road. All five pickup spots full. Three more sitting on the curb like abandoned shopping carts. It’s not a drive-thru. It’s a vehicle graveyard with a soda machine. And the best part? It’s not accidental—it’s strategic. Somewhere in the corporate world of McDonald's, there’s a magical little number called drive-thru time. And this location has cracked the code: 👉 Don’t actually be faster… 👉 Just make the timer think you are. So they shove you out of the line as fast as possible, stop the clock, and boom—on paper, they’re crushing it. Metrics look amazing. Gold stars all around. Meanwhile, in reality? You’re sitting in Parking Spot #4, watching your life choices unravel, waiting longer than you would have if they just did their job at the window. Congratulations—you’re no longer a customer. You’re a data point that’s been successfully hidden. And this isn’t a one-time thing. This place is consistently bad like it’s part of the training manual. I’ve: Waited 7 minutes just to order with no one in line Seen employees outside smoking while customers sit there Been handed the wrong drink and told it can’t be fixed because of a price difference That last one really deserves a trophy. I ordered ONE item and a sweet tea. I get to the window—Sprite. I say it’s wrong. I’m told they can’t swap it because sweet tea costs more. I say “charge me.” They say they can’t do that at the window. So the solution… is to send me back into the same disaster loop of parked cars and wasted time… just to fix THEIR mistake. At that point, it’s not fast food. It’s a low-budget psychological experiment. Honestly, I would rather drive 4 miles out of my way to another McDonald’s than participate in whatever this is. If the goal here is to win awards for “fastest drive-thru times” while customers slowly lose their sanity in a scattered parking lot, then congratulations—you’re absolutely killing it. If the goal is to actually serve people food in a reasonable, functional way? This place is a complete and utter failure. I've now been sitting here for 18 mins waiting on my food!
