Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The food was fresh, hot, and made exactly right, but what really stood out was the customer service. Autumn was an amazing host — very friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. She made sure everything was taken care of and created a genuinely positive atmosphere. It’s rare to see that level of hospitality nowadays. Definitely one of the better Whataburger experiences I’ve had.

He has since gotten ill and is home on hospice. But that does not stop him from getting there every Saturday morning. He looks forward to it all week…. A little bit of normalcy. His buddies are still there and our friends and family also show up….. EVERY Saturday. The employees here go ABOVE and BEYOND for our crew. I couldn’t be more thankful for their kind and loving hearts 🧡

- KEKaren English6 days ago5.0I go to WAB every Thursday morning with friends for breakfast and to play Bingo. We have the best time there. We do enjoy our food and the coffee is fantastic, and u never get free coffee except there. The staff is wonderful, it’s like going to families house. We are very lucky to have this WAB and these employees. They are the tops!!!
