    I had a horrible experience. Im walking through the door as an employee was coming from the restroom and there was a young woman standing behind the register and i let her know my name and that I was picking up a mobile order. The employee that came from the restroom proceeded to start saying that it didnt come through or it could take some time meanwhile my app was saying it was ready. He looked behind him at the ticket machine an saw that the ticket was there and he was like my bad. He goes to starting making them and lady behind the register looked upset and proceeds to tell me that she had asked about getting more hours at work and they were making her go home early because they were not busy and she asks me if i knew any place that was hiring. Finally got my ice cream and at this point I was so ready to get out of this place I paid additional $0.89 for peanut butter topping which they did not give me. $25 for four ice was not worth it.

    You have two girls in there two white girls, but red hair that need to be fired. The worst it’s ever been this Dairy Queen is going down the tubes. We will not be back unless these two girls are gone. That’s a promise. They have attitudes that don’t need to be in the public. Unless you get rid of them, we will not be back. We will go elsewhere to get our ice cream.

    To the Management of Dairy Queen, I am writing to formally report an incredibly disappointing and unacceptable experience I had at your drive-through location on June 20, 2026 at approximately [9 PM]. Upon pulling up to the window, I was greeted by an employee with red hair who was accompanied by a coworker. Instead of receiving standard customer service, I was treated with immediate, unprovoked hostility and belligerence. The employee’s demeanor was incredibly aggressive and entirely inappropriate for a customer-facing role. Someone with that level of unprofessionalism should not be handling the drive-through window. Furthermore, the product quality was completely subpar. I ordered a Blizzard, and the employee failed to perform the standard "upside-down" test before handing it to me. It quickly became clear why: the treat was completely melted to the point of being liquid, resembling stale milk. It was entirely unconsumable, and I was forced to discard it. As a customer, I expect a basic level of respect and a product that meets Dairy Queen's established quality standards. This experience fell short on both fronts. I request that local management reviews this incident, addresses the behavior of the employees working the window at that time, and takes appropriate corrective action. My visit to the drive-through was marked by extreme staff hostility, blatant overcharging, and substandard product quality. We placed two separate orders at the drive-through. The experience with the drive-through cashier—a young woman with red hair—was entirely unacceptable. The details of our grievances are outlined below: 1. Overcharging and Refusal to Honor Promotions Coupon Denied: I presented a valid mobile app coupon for a $2.99 promotion. The cashier refused to apply the discount and charged me full price. When I politely brought this to her attention, she refused to correct it. Charged for a Pup Cup: I ordered a pup cup, which has always been complimentary at Dairy Queen locations. She instead charged me full price for it and refused to reverse the charge. 2. Belligerent and Unprofessional Staff Behavior When I calmly questioned the incorrect charges, the red-haired cashier became defensive, nasty, and openly belligerent. Instead of de-escalating the situation or calling a manager, she called over a female co-worker. Furthermore, the employee completely bypassed the standard Dairy Queen "Upside Down or It's Free" guarantee, likely because she knew the item was entirely melted when she handed it to us. I have never received such a poorly made item from a Dairy Queen before. As a loyal customer, I expect a basic level of respect, accurate billing, and the quality that the Dairy Queen brand prides itself on. The behavior of these two employees was entirely uncalled for, and the fact that I was overcharged for a subpar product is unacceptable. I request that this matter be investigated by corporate and the local franchise management. I would appreciate a refund for the overcharged items and a response detailing how this situation will be addressed regarding staff retraining. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.     Went there to alleviate the heat with a blizzard. The cashier was patient, kind and super helpful. I was indecisive and he didn’t rush me or make me feel like I was taking too long. It did help that no one was behind me though. The blizzards were made perfectly. They even added a little extra chocolate chips.
