Ordered a stuffed crust pizza with extra cheese, extra pepperoni, for delivery. Doordash brought me a regular pepperoni pizza. I called the store and was told my pizza was still at the store and should be to me in 10 minutes. 25 minutes later I called back and they told me my pizza was on it's way. 20 minutes later (this location is a 3min drive from my hotel) and was told that my pizza is ready for pick up. At this point? Whatever, I'm on my way. While driving there I received a call from the store saying "Did you just call pizza hut?" I did, yes. "Why? Or what about." I then explained for a 4th time. She asked where the pizza that had been delivered more than an hour ago was. When I responded that it was now in the trash she yelled and cursed "how the hell are we supposed to know you got the wrong pizza if you don't bring the pizza back to us." The fact that I had a pizza from you, called you and said it was not my pizza, to which you replied "oh, yeah, your pizza is right here" is probably a pretty good indicator that I did not receive it. So now ive paid for delivery and tip, I am already to the restaurant by the time she is done yelling, and now you want me to go back to my hotel to bring you crusts from the trash can to prove it was not stuffed? Management needs to be re-trained. Absolute insanity. Pizza was great once I finally received it.
