  Just ordered a to-go ordered for family. 3 meat plate and 2 half chicken plates. Everything was great. Love how easy the app was.

  Brisket was a little too lean for me, Ribs and sausage were ok, Chicken was really good especially the dark meat. I don't do sides, so i will not comment other than they looked good.

  My husband and I stopped In around 7pm on a Saturday evening. We are not from Brookhaven however we have a river camp close and have been wanting to try bowies for a while! The parking lot was empty other than the employees which maybe should have been our first red flag. Pros: •Employees were polite and informative •Complementary hush puppies Cons: • Employees conversation in the background as my husband and I were eating consisted of “best restaurants in Brookhaven?” “Well I sure Wouldn’t say Bowies” “5 second rule the grease will burn off the germs..” •$17 for a two meat combo = three slices of brisket that were so dry I worried it was smoked the prior weekend. Two ribs that were okay nothing to call home about. • Mac and cheese tasted like microwave bob evans • I just so happened to look up and the air vent was completely black… I’m not sure if it was mold or from just lack of cleaning for years.. Needless to say we were greatly disappointed. Which is sad because I LOVE BBQ and I hate I spent $50 for terrible BBQ….

  The food is not something to be proud of the brisket was dry with no flavor along with the ribs mac and cheese and green beans the turkey was extremely salty 10 10 would not recommend should be ashamed to call it BBQ
