Sassy & Served
Jul 3, 2026
Our order was placed at 11:51 PM on July 2 (Order #28). We returned about 20 minutes later to pick it up and found several customers already waiting while the staff appeared to be changing shifts.
I understood they were busy, so I patiently waited and let them finish helping the customers ahead of us. My husband and I repeatedly pointed out what appeared to be our order—a club sandwich with Sour Cream & Onion chips—sitting on top of the pickup counter and politely asked if it was ours.
The young cashier was clearly overwhelmed, and I genuinely felt bad for her because she was trying her best. The female assistant manager, however, repeatedly ignored us. Every time I asked about our food, she would say something like, "I ain't forgot, I'm working on it," then continue walking away without ever actually helping us.
The male manager wasn't any better. Instead of helping customers, he repeatedly disappeared into the back.
After standing there patiently and even asking my husband twice to step outside so things wouldn't escalate, the assistant manager finally stopped directly in front of me. I asked, "Are you really going to keep ignoring me?" She replied, "Excuse me?" I told her, "I've been more than patient while y'all do whatever y'all need to do, and I've repeatedly asked for my food only for you to ignore me."
Instead of helping, she told me, "You're not going to talk to me like that," and threatened to call security.
Ironically, within seconds, the cashier handed us our food. That's all that needed to happen from the beginning.
I honestly wish she had called security because I would have asked them to review the surveillance footage. It would show exactly what happened—that I patiently waited, allowed staff to finish with other customers, repeatedly asked for my prepaid order, and only became frustrated after being ignored over and over again.
The cashier deserves recognition. Management should be embarrassed and replaced....both of them. This entire situation could have been resolved in 30 seconds if this woman had simply listened.
