  Food was great, especially the Red, White & Blue shake, but the atmosphere felt uncomfortable. The staff greeted us and helped with our order, but after that, the team seemed very quiet and gloomy, and there didn’t seem to be much communication between them. A couple of weeks ago, I came in and witnessed what appeared to be a confrontation between a younger staff member and someone who may have been a manager. I can’t confirm their exact positions, but it was uncomfortable to see the younger employee being yelled at by an older staff member in front of others. It made the environment feel tense, and as a customer, it was awkward to witness. Regardless of the situation, that does not seem like a professional or respectful way to treat employees, especially where customers can see and hear it. I’ve run businesses my whole life, and this is not the way to build a strong team or create a welcoming environment for customers. Employees should be coached and corrected respectfully, not embarrassed in front of others. The food itself was good, and I would consider coming back, but the atmosphere definitely felt off. I hope management takes steps to create a more positive and respectful environment for both staff and customers.

  Really good burgers! Would definitely recommend if your looking for a burger joint its kinda like five guys or smashburger in a way. I will definitely be coming back to this little spot in Woodbury.

  6/24/26 12:30pm. A nice place with friendly employees and and an excellent burger and onion rings were crispy and perfect. My wife has been wanting to go here for 15 years and we finally stopped and it was worth it. We had the classic burger which was a great combination of ingredients to perfection. The food took about 10 minutes and that worked out really good. The food was brought to our table by a friendly guy who said a few nice words. Parking is in a shared lot with kind of a strip mall setup well maintained business fronts. We had a coupon to use in the business was also listed on Upside so that worked out well we saved a little bit.

  Surprised at the reviews since friendly staff and and quick service was not what I got. I think 3 stars is about where I'd put it. The food itself was fine, got a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was pretty standard. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted and was kind of confused at where to order. My sandwich took 10-15 minutes to come out, which isn't great but not the end of the world. The place is a bit bizarre because with the prices and the menu aesthetics it really seems like this is supposed to be an upscale burger place yet it's in an old-looking lobby and staffed by really tired-looking people. I can't even blame them for taking so long on my order because they don't even have a HUD screen or anything, they use paper tickets. I usually just focus on the food, but if you want a place like this with an exposed kitchen to work it has to be like 5 guys or portillos or even chic fil a where the staff actually talk to each other and look like they want to be there. Again, I don't really hold it against them because they're probably being paid minimum wage but the amount the burgers cost really implies a level of quality that just isn't there. To sum it up, there's plenty of places you can go to pay $15 for a burger, fries, and a drink. Most of them offer something that brings you back, like friendly staff, a good-looking lobby, or above and beyond food and value. The food was great, but most places do more.
