  Had the steak and fries. Was just a tad undercooked .Had asked for medium and it was more towards the rare side of things Otherwise it was good.

  The food is fabulous. The Noble Chop was excellent. Well prepared and better than any Iowa chop I ever had. I savored every bite.

  I've eaten here several times now and it has never once been a letdown. That's the part worth saying, because anyone can have one good night. The bison tartare — capers, chives, shallots, Espelette — is what I order first, every time. Scallops and bacon over creamed corn are cooked properly, which sounds like faint praise until you've had them cooked improperly somewhere else. The oysters are clean and cold. My five year old ordered three, finished them, and asked for three more. What keeps me coming back is smaller than any single dish. Somebody behind the bar decided a kid's mocktail deserved a fresh sprig of rosemary. Nobody asked for that. You can't put it on a menu and you can't train it in an afternoon. And here's the part I don't think people have caught up to yet. If you've spent years driving into Minneapolis every time you wanted a serious dinner, you can stop. The Noble Lion is proof that food at this level exists west of Lake Minnetonka — scratch kitchen, elevated American with a French lean, and a dining room that isn't apologizing for being in Carver County. It's setting the standard out here, and the rest of the west metro is going to have to catch up. Bring the family or leave them home. Works either way. — Geoffrey Serdar

  Love I can easily get take out and enjoy fabulous food- even though it’s always nice to order takeout and sit up at the bar and have a drink… Such a great atmosphere!

  The Noble Lion is the kind of place you can settle into and just enjoy. Great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. From the fresh PEI oysters to the seasonal dishes, everything was full of flavor. If you're looking for an easygoing meal that still feels special, you can't go wrong here.
