  This place is awesome! Atmosphere is great! Bright and inviting. We went on a Tuesday and we ordered all the tacos as they have a special on Tuesdays they were large, tortillas were amazing, and the combinations all worked perfectly together! Great date spot!!!

  We went to the Chefs table experience. I cannot say enough about how amazing the food was! Great value for the experience. Service was wonderful. Highly recommend.

  We had previously been and the food was amazing tonight unfortunately was a bit of a let down. The chips were stale and the guacamole we had lacked flavor and seemed overly smooth similar to pre packaged. The enchiladas were okay but lacked some flavor as well and maybe texture. The cauliflower tinga sounded good but again fell flat the cauliflower in our opinion just didn’t seem to fit the cooking style left it mushy and just overall a bit odd. The shrimp tacos were amazing we wished we would have ordered more of those.

  Stillwater, I hope you know what a gem you have in Xelas! My photos are a mash up from 3 separate visits over a two-week period because the food, drinks, and service are that good! The mole might be the best I've ever had. Every component in each dish, from the salsas/sauces, roasted pepper and onion accompaniments, perfectly cooked meats, huitlacoche rice, birria consome, was thoughtful and perfectly prepared. The drinks and mocktails also shine, with the Xelas margarita and watermelon Jamaica as our favorites. I had Xelas in my list since they opened and am only sorry we didn't get here sooner! We don't live close but I'm pretty sure we've found our new favorite spot.

  The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. I have been to this restaurant twice one year apart, and the quality has remained the same. The portions are pretty large, so unless you’re very hungry I’d recommend sharing one man and one starter for two people. It’s also pretty good for groups of up to eight people.
