  Stillwater, I hope you know what a gem you have in Xelas! My photos are a mash up from 3 separate visits over a two-week period because the food, drinks, and service are that good! The mole might be the best I've ever had. Every component in each dish, from the salsas/sauces, roasted pepper and onion accompaniments, perfectly cooked meats, huitlacoche rice, birria consome, was thoughtful and perfectly prepared. The drinks and mocktails also shine, with the Xelas margarita and watermelon Jamaica as our favorites. I had Xelas in my list since they opened and am only sorry we didn't get here sooner! We don't live close but I'm pretty sure we've found our new favorite spot.

  The food was amazing and the service was wonderful. I have been to this restaurant twice one year apart, and the quality has remained the same. The portions are pretty large, so unless you’re very hungry I’d recommend sharing one man and one starter for two people. It’s also pretty good for groups of up to eight people.

  Exceptional food - maybe the best in the valley. Wonderful, authentic menu - try the short rib Birria!

  We just left the restaurant and it was absolutely amazing! We came for my fiancé's birthday and everything we ordered was phenomenal. Atmosphere was 10/10 and so was the service.

  ¡¡Riquísimo!! We’ve passed by this place a few times and wanted to give it a try- so glad we did! The service is outstanding and the food was excellent. The mocktail was amazingly refreshing and the chips satisfied my salty craving with a variety of salsas! There was a beautiful bar too. We will be back often. Gracias!!
