Dined in for lunch. Had mango lassi and a chai. Both very good. Also tried the lamb Thali and chicken momos. Both were excellent and had great service by the owner. Food was all freshly prepared and delicious.

Tried it impulsively, trusting the 397 review aggregate of 4.5 stars. Fast, pleasant service. Dinner takeout was $75 for 2 entrees, naan and an app after a 15% tip. I think that is typical these days. I had high hopes for the Chicken Tikka. But the flavor was not there. Pleasant spice level but I did not get the taste I expected from Chicken Tikka. The samosa chaat was dry and salty. The Dal Makhani was OK, but not very fresh. I hope for better next time. Support Nepal!

Let me preface this by saying I’m half Indian. I am sitting at this restaurant eating right at this moment, and I needed to put my food down for a moment to write a review because this was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. (Sorry Dad) The best Biriyani, The Best Korma, the Best Naan, and the best Chai I’ve ever had anywhere. What is even happening right now. I feel like I walked through a random Almari on rice street and emerged in Indian Narnia.
