I ordered a chili cheese dog which was freshly made, hot and yummy. My 2 road tripping kitties each received a pup-cup of soft ice cream. One enjoyed it, the other not interested, saying she would only eat it if it was called a kit-cup. My only complaint is their drive through layout is a bit odd. I travel with pets and wanted to park in their lot to eat my food in my vehicle. There is no way to get back to the parking lot without exiting to the street and circling back around to the building. I decided not to try it since they are right at a busy intersection. At least the food was good.

Conveniently located along Highway 63 between Rochester and NE Iowa. I have frequented this location many times as it’s an easy stop to break up the drive and it’s right next to a gas station. On my most recent stop, it was busy, but the worker politely apologized for the delay and let me know she would be with me shortly. Site was well-staffed and clean. They seem to have more emphasis on hot fast food options than other DQ sites. Blizzard was heaping over the top and correctly made. Make sure to see the included photos to get discounts, like the included BOGO promotion going on now. Would recommend!

Ordered drive up 6 piece chicken and 4 gravy with my Rewards points. Got to window and cashier says can only get 4 piece. I said there is 4 piece for 750 points and 6 with 2000 points. She said no just 4 piece with rewards points. Then charged me $ 2.87 for the gravies. One should have been free dipping sauce. Three cost $2.87??? Got home and there was no receipt for gravy so I can't even claim the rewards. Really disgusted on service. We eat here 2-3 times per month. Been going here for 35 years. New employees are not very accommodating! We're both in our mid eighties are disturbed with service of some at this Dairy Queen in Spring Valley, MN.

I stopped here on my way through the town, for a quick bite to eat. The parking lot was beyond packed with the line snaking into the street. Little did I know it was free cone day. So I decided to go inside. I waited inside for about 10 minutes before I was able to get help. No big deal since they were obviously busy. Then I get to the register and she tells us the register is down. They rebooted it a few times and then Apple Pay didn’t work, so he finally started the other register up and got a till for it. Then that one started having issues. In total I was waiting for a good 30 mins before being able to place an order. I did not take it out on the staff since clearly they were very busy, but it was frustrating. All the waiting to get the saddest chicken tender meal I have seen in a long time. Disappointed, and also I asked the manager if I could get the blizzards that came with the meal at a later time since it was free ice cream day. He said no, but I think they could have made an exception given how long I had to wait due to POS issues. Either way the staff was friendly and the store was clean.
