  I almost didn’t come here because of some of the reviews. I was expecting slow service, rude employees, and a sloppy sandwich, but I decided to give it a chance anyway. I’m honestly glad I did because my experience was the complete opposite of what I expected. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in, acknowledged me right away, and got my order started quickly. The restaurant was clean, the employees looked like they actually cared, and my sandwich was made exactly how I ordered it. Everything tasted fresh, the bread was soft, the vegetables were crisp, and they didn’t skimp on the ingredients. I don’t know if this location has improved a lot recently or if some of the negative reviews are exaggerated, but based on my visit, I don’t think the current rating really reflects the experience I had. Everyone has a bad day once in a while, but it’s not fair to judge a place forever because of a few bad experiences. If you’re on the fence because of the reviews like I was, I’d recommend giving this Jimmy John’s a shot and deciding for yourself. I was pleasantly surprised, and I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s nice to see a place that seems to have stepped up its game or maybe just never deserved some of the criticism in the first place.

  Jimmy John’s in Shakopee consistently provides a great experience. The restaurant was clean, my order was prepared quickly, and everything tasted fresh. The bread was soft, the ingredients were fresh, and the sandwich was exactly what I ordered. One of the employees—a half-Asian, half-white teenager—really stood out because of how friendly, professional, and hardworking he was. He greeted customers with a smile, stayed calm even when things got busy, and made sure orders were accurate. It’s always nice to see someone who genuinely cares about providing good customer service, and he made the visit even better. Overall, this location does a great job with both food quality and customer service. If you’re looking for a quick meal in Shakopee, I’d definitely recommend stopping by. I’ll be coming back again.(give Jonah a raise)

  Used the bathroom before ordering. It was pretty gross, two full trashes, paper towels everywhere, sink was gross. It didn't look clean behind the counter either, so we went home instead. Can't speak for the food or service, but I wouldn't eat here.

  Place is truly filthy. Kitchen, dinning room and the bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels. No one has cleaned this bathroom in i would guess several days. One of our sandwiches had a black hair wrapped up with it. I know stuff happens but the kids behind the counter probably should be wearing hair nets. They did replace the sandwich. We were the only people there with one other guy. No excuse for how dirty this place is. Probably time to hire a manager that cares.
