  I honestly cannot believe the level of incompetence and terrible customer service at Chipotle Mexican Grill. I originally went in asking for two kids cheese quesadillas — just tortillas and melted cheese. Apparently that was impossible unless I ordered full kids meals with rice and beans, which I did not want. My kids don’t eat the rice and beans, so why would I pay for food that’s just going to get thrown away? I don’t like being wasteful, and it made no sense that I couldn’t simply order the cheese quesadillas by themselves. Trying to work with them, I then asked for two soft shell tacos with just cheese and kindly asked if they could simply melt the cheese similar to the kids quesadilla. Once again, I was told it was “not something they are capable of doing.” I’m genuinely confused why melting cheese inside two tortillas is such a difficult task. So instead, I had to go home and finish making my son’s meal myself by melting the cheese for his quesadillas — a simple task that literally would have taken them an extra 30 seconds. This wasn’t about policy — this was about laziness and terrible customer service. The staff acted like I was asking for some outrageous custom order when it was literally the easiest thing on the planet. Customer service at this location is absolute garbage, and after this experience I honestly don’t even want to come back.

  This location is better than some of the others in the area because it's not as busy. I live in Apple Valley and, for me, it's worth the extra 2-3 miles to go to this location instead of the Apple Valley one because it just feels more relaxed. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

  Portions are always inconsistent. Today my bowl and burrito were both small than normal. When they pack the bowl, the lid is never completely shut so it’s always crappy finding food in the bag that fell out of the bowl that’s already portioned small. Only reason this location is in business is probably because there’s no food options in Rosemount.
