Authentic cuisine is a nice change from the usual American Chinese menu. They do offer the standard dishes you find in any Chinese restaurant, but they also feature unique items you won't find elsewhere. Portions are very generous, expect to take home enough for another one or two dinners. Staff are friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We'll be going again.

Red Pepper’s Spicy Lemongrass Chicken is the best Asian dish I’ve ever had. Or maybe the Ginger Chicken. I alternate! So good, not heavy or saucy, and the flavors just dance. Welcome back, we missed you!!

Our main dishes were wonderful! Chicken Hot Pot and Sesame Chicken outstanding. We also had egg rolls, cream cheese wontons and dumplings….the dumplings were great but the two appetizers we had that were fried had potential of being outstanding but didn’t taste good because what seemed like to us old fry oil. If the oil was fresh our rating would be 5 stars.

The food was comically bad. We ordered two orders of the fresh spring rolls which tasted awful. The pork inside was dry and tasted like it had gone bad. Shrimp was obviously low quality frozen. Veggies included iceberg lettuce and nothing more.
Chicken fried rice was dry and flavorless. The chicken in question was approximately 1mm thick and was hard and dry, also flavorless. They did not sift out the cartilage from the "meat" and dumped some frozen veggies akin to those you would get from a public school lunch in the 90s.
The sesame chicken taste wise was overly spicy and the "chicken" itself has the same problems noted above, extremely thin, 80% breading which, by the way, was raw flour and undercooked.
We are not picky eaters. Usually we can at least eat something even if we didnt enjoy it. This was truly an inedible meal and we threw away $50. Stay away!

In this day and age of allergen awareness it's really disappointing that the cooks here cannot be bothered to know or follow which vegetables are supposed to be in the Veg Lo Mein based on what is on the website, which is how I choose what to order: "Cabbage, green onion, broccoli, peapods, mushrooms"... NOT baby corn. Which, of course, was present in my order of Veg Lo Mein. And yes, the cream cheese wontons were overcooked. Considering the price, one would expect to get at least a 2oz container of 'sweet and sour sauce' with this order. Instead, plastic packets (ick) of 'duck sauce' are provided. MEH.
I was initially very happy to see this business return to Richfield, but I'm never going to order from them again. And from reading other reviews, it's obvious that they're struggling with quality issues already. Relaunching a business in this day and age you need to bring your A game or you're not going to be open for very long. Good luck.
