New location at MOA. Disappointed in the product - deep dish. Because we had our two grandson's and we didn't want them to wait even longer for their dinner, we at the deep dish pizza which was overbaked and hard as a rock. We also didn't want to complain in front of them. The individual pizzas were fine, however, since it was quite obvious visually, that the deep-dish pizza was not a quality product, we were disappointed nothing was said or done about it. I doubt we will be visiting Giordanos another time. Please update your site to include the MOA location.

I've been going here for a long time a regular 20% plus tipper. Last Friday night I had a bad experience. My waitress kept telling me no on my special orders before I could even finish my request. Yes it was a bit busy but I'm still a bit irritated on the interruptions. So much so that it will be awhile before I return. This will be a good thing for you darling because you can spend more time with those who really matter to you. There are other ways to say no to a request you can't do. Try redirecting to something you can, or let me see what I can do is another possibility. Don't rush an annoying special request guy to get through your shift faster. You rarely know who your actually talking to.
I took my friend to Giordano's for his 52nd birthday, and it was his first visit. I had been looking forward to introducing him to one of my favorite pizza places, so I was disappointed with how the experience went.
When our waitress came to our table, she seemed like she was in a hurry, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. There were several empty tables and only a few other customers.
I introduced my friend and let her know we were celebrating his birthday and that it was his first time there. When she asked what kind of beer he wanted, she asked a question he didn't understand. My friend has some cognitive challenges, so I politely explained that he didn't understand what she was asking. She appeared frustrated, went to get our waters, and told him to take some time to think about it.
When she returned, she asked him the exact same question again, even though I had already explained that he didn't understand. She then showed him the beer menu, but he has very poor eyesight and couldn't read it. I finally told him to name one of his favorite beers so she could simply let us know if they carried it.
Later, I showed her a picture of a pizza because my friend was overwhelmed by all the menu choices. I explained that the picture was just to show the style of pizza he wanted and that he would tell her what toppings he wanted. It didn't feel like she was very patient or understanding throughout the interaction.
I've eaten at Giordano's several times and have always had good experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing. It was my friend's birthday and his first time there, and I wanted him to leave with a great impression. Unfortunately, this ended up being the worst experience I've had at this location. I hope this feedback helps because a little more patience and understanding can make a huge difference, especially for guests who may have cognitive or vision challenges.
I ordered a Sausage Deep Dish and Cheese Tavern style pizza for the first time. I go to Chicago regularly for work and LOVE Chicago Deep Dish pizza and are used to sauce being a full layer disc.
This by far is the worst Deep Dish pizza I have ever had. Each piece literally had 1-2 small pieces of sausage on them. There is more sausage on a Jacks frozen pizza. When I called the manager she said they measure it out and don't do disc layers that are typical in Chicago. Do not order the deep dish.
The tavern pizza was ok but does but does not compete with like a Detellos. I will never ever be back.
