  We had such a great experience at Smashburger thanks to our server Ollie. They were incredibly patient, kind, and attentive the entire time. They made us feel welcomed, never rushed us, and handled everything with such a positive attitude. Great customer service like that really makes a difference, and we truly appreciated their kindness. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!

  As someone who spent nearly two decades in the hospitality industry — including years in management — I do not hand out praise lightly when it comes to customer service. I know firsthand how demanding food service can be, how exhausting the public can be, and how rare it has become to encounter employees who genuinely seem to care about their work and the people walking through the door. That is exactly why the team at Smashburger in Plymouth on Vicksburg(er) Lane deserves recognition. Yes, we noticed the (er). Every single time I have walked into this location — whether ordering food for my son and me or picking up DoorDash orders for work — I have been met with kindness, patience, professionalism, and sincere human decency. Not once. Consistently. In a world where so many people understandably seem burned out or disconnected from their jobs, the staff here somehow continue to treat customers like they matter. And trust me: people remember that. My son absolutely loves this restaurant, and during a very difficult season of life for our family, being able to occasionally bring him here gives him a small sense of normalcy and comfort that means more to me than I can properly explain. We are navigating serious personal hardships, including homelessness, and there are days when even a simple meal out feels emotionally significant. Because of my circumstances, I am not always able to leave the kind of financial tip that service like this deserves. So instead, I try to leave words — because exceptional service should still be acknowledged, and people who consistently show kindness deserve to be seen. The gratitude my son and I feel for this location genuinely matches the level of service we receive there: unparalleled. To the staff and management at Smashburger Plymouth: thank you for continuing to show professionalism, warmth, and humanity in an industry that is not always easy.   First of all I love smashburger, but this review is about recognizing your stand out employee, Ollie. During my visit Ollie was managing the entire front of the restaurant on his own. He was taking orders, making shakes, packaging food, and keeping everything moving—all while staying calm and organized. What stood out most was his politeness, professionalism and awareness. Even while juggling multiple responsibilities, he consistently acknowledged every customer who walked in, letting them know he would be with them shortly. That level of attentiveness made a big difference and showed a level of maturity and customer service that was mesmerizing to watch. He is phenomenal! Despite being clearly busy, he remained polite, respectful, and efficient throughout. He was giving fine dining level service! It was genuinely impressive to watch him multitask and maintain such a positive attitude under pressure. He is doing the work of two people. He made it look effortless but he was hustling! Employees like him are a HUGE asset, you are beyond lucky to have him and he absolutely deserves recognition from management for going above and beyond.

  Even though their fryer was down which was a bummer, he gave me a coupon to use next time I go there. :) Awesome customer service!!! Great good, exactly as I ordered it. Will definitely go back!
