This Dairy Queen location is the worst in the area! It doesn't matter whether it is winter or summer, the wait time is always long! If you place an order for pickup, expect to wait at least 15 minutes just to get acknowledged and another 15 minutes for them to even start making your order. If you plan to order inside when you get there, expect to be in line for 30 minutes and waiting another 15 to 30 for your order to be done. The way the staff treat the customers is atrocious! Whether you're working with a manager or or crew member, the staff all have attitudes. You ask a question in the nicest way possible, and they still roll their eyes at you. After the cashier takes one order at the counter, they will walk away and return maybe 5-10 minutes later to take the order of the next person in the long line that is wrapping through the store. I will never go to this Dairy Queen again or any other locations owned by Fourteen Foods, for that matter. The Golden Valley location (not owned by Fourteen Foods) is so much better and I will drive the extra short distance to get exceptionally better service.

Horrendous. Owners of chain need to step in and get this location together! Quality control please! What you see in the picture is rotten lettuce pulled from a burger, and undercooked slimy bacon. Do not buy food from here! Cleanliness of establishment was also very concerning. Revamp to staff needed badly!!

My family and I stopped at this Dairy Queen after my daughter’s soccer game yesterday. We’ve lived in Plymouth for over 10 years, and while we enjoy Dairy Queen, we honestly don’t visit this location very often because the service has consistently been disappointing. Every now and then we’re in the mood for Dairy Queen, so we decide to give it another try and hope for a better experience. Unfortunately, the biggest issue continues to be the service. The wait was incredibly long—we stood in line for about 25 minutes and seriously considered leaving before we finally made it to the front. The staff generally seemed disengaged and unfriendly. The cashier, in particular, was the low point of the experience. His affect was extremely flat, and he gave the impression that he absolutely did not want to be there. There was no warmth, friendliness, or sense of customer service. That said, I do want to recognize one employee who stood out. There was a gentleman (very tall) working yesterday who was genuinely friendly, kind, and appeared to care about the customers. He was a breath of fresh air compared to the overall atmosphere and deserves recognition for his positive attitude. Another issue was that there was an intermittent but very noticeable smell of marijuana coming through the vents while we were inside. It was quite off-putting and not something customers should be experiencing while dining with their families. As for the food, our order was correct and the ice cream was good. There was nothing wrong with what we received. However, after such a long wait and poor overall service experience, it didn’t feel worth it. This location would benefit greatly from additional staffing and significantly improved customer service training. Dairy Queen is a great brand, and this location has the potential to be much better. Management needs to address the ongoing service issues because customers shouldn’t have to brace themselves for a poor experience every time they visit. Simply put, this location needs to do better.

I stopped in today bcaz my daughter wanted ice cream. The cashier was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her customer service was beyond nasty! I came in, smiled with her and she was unwelcoming. I attempted to place my order and when she asked me which sized cone I wanted, I began to confirm with my daughter as she is the one whom it is for. The cashier rushed me to answer her in a rude and uncomfortable tone and the nastiest look on her face. I shld have just left and not continue with the purchase. I gave her no reason for that type of behavior. No1 in customer service shld behave in that manner. I will not be returning to this location. If u don't like ur job, stop showing up and give someone else the opportunity. The minute I walked in I cld see in her face that she wld b a problem. She didn't even acknowledge my order - she placed it on the counter and walked away; no thank you or anything. She was rude to others in the establishment as well. I even questioned whether i shld consume the order of fear that she may have done something to it. Just a very nasty person and I hope management does something about it.

If you grew up in Plymouth with this outstanding location, sorry to say, but you might want To go to a different location. This is not the same as it once was. I’m actually shocked that for the slightly high-end area of Plymouth, the Dairy Queen wouldn’t address the issues at this particular place. First of all the bathroom is torn to pieces looks like it’s the same bathroom since about 2003. second of all I sat and waited for my online order for 15 minutes before finally having to ask about it. The workers here are extremely disheveled and are trying somewhat, but you can tell that they hate everything about it. The food tasted normal, so I guess that’s all that really matters, but still kind of shocked to see what has become of this once Great Dairy Queen. Like I said, you would think that they would realize there are some really bad reviews on this place
