  My party of five arrived and waited at the host station for ten minutes. Finally, someone appeared, but the waitress said, “I have no idea what we have for a room, just go out to the patio.” We went out to the patio, and it was packed as well. We asked if we could wait there until they had an indoor table, and they said yes. Finally, a waitress came back and told us they were opening a new section. When we walked inside, the new section was being filled by people who arrived after us without reservations. We decided to save ourselves the time and take our business elsewhere.

  The Good: Above and beyond exceptional service! This review is a bit unique as it came with a "hiccup" so to speak. Before reviewing the lodge itself it needs to be explained. Middle of July and the AC unit in the room basically didn't work. While it was blowing air, it was faint and barely cooler than the outside air. When we brought the issue up to lodge personnel, they made management aware immediately and immediately management sent the AC repair person to work on it. However, he wasn't going to be able to fix it that day and said it wouldn't be fixed until tomorrow. From there, he talked with management who not only apologized, but booked us a room at the resort down the road and paid the difference in cost themselves. This in itself is an almost unheard of thing in this day and age and it was greatly appreciated! If you see this review, THANK YOU! We highly appreciated what you did. The next morning the AC unit was repaired and the room was cool again. As for the review of the lodge itself? Beautiful interior. Very cozy homey feeling. Rooms were clean. Mirror in the bathroom was neat and everything looked well maintained. No smells, no stains. Beds were comfortable and clean, and the otter pillows were a nice touch. Balcony was awesome and TV was a good size for the room. The bar and restaurant next door may get busy but you don't notice it in your room. Possibly if you go out on the balcony you might. The Bad: No breakfast really but there is the restaurant next door. The Ugly: Only two things I think that could benefit this lodge is: 1) Reserved parking spots for lodge guests only. (The bar and restaurant next door is amazing but with people staying at the lodge they are sometimes forced to park a ways away because of the crowd at the bar and restaurant.) 2) Possibly a bit stronger toilet paper. Overall an amazing place to stay that definitely brings a different feel of the typical hotel stay.

  Such a great lil spot. Not on the water but still has all the accommodations you need. Great food, clean rooms, beautiful patio. We hope we can come back and spend more time! Order an old fashioned they were amazing! Thanks so much!

  A nice little Supper club and lodge. Great staff clean rooms easy check in Needed more towels, a fridge and coffee Music at night shaded patio outback

  Spent three nights in one of the balcony rooms. Great room, very spacious and a huge balcony. Liked some of the little touches in the room, like the hand carved headboards and that both the pillows and comforter had otters & woodland animals on them. Only reason for not rating the room as a "5" was some maintenance touchups needed in the bathroom : loose toilet seat. Towel rack missing but hardware still on wall. Touch up on wall around newer vanity put in that was smaller then previous one (so it blended in and didn't stick out). Ate in the bar/restaurant twice. Great food and nice small town bar atmosphere. Would definitely stay again and also go to the bar/restaurant again. One suggestion would be that since the Hotel & Supper Club are connected (and presumably run by same people) to either give a 5-10% discount off food or one free drink per day for the guests staying in the Hotel.
