We arrived about 7:30 on a Wednesday night. The cashier took a long time to greet us/ring up our bill. The floor in the dining area was very dirty. Some of the food on the back serving area was really dried out and unappetizing (pasta and chicken strips). The ice cream machine was out of order, and constantly beeping. The dessert pizzas were gone, and we were told they would not be replenished. Empty plates were only picked up from our table once, and not until we had quite a pile. (Four people in our party). It’s possible they had been very busy earlier in the evening and not able to keep up…otherwise they were either understaffed or under trained.

There was a soccer team, and the kids were a bit out of control. Obviously, the parents or other adults were irresponsible. At least 3 ice cream cones ended up on the floor, and the kids were in the way leaning against various parts of the food serving locations. The part that troubled my wife the most was when one of these kids said "Someone should clean this up.", your staff sent the one person that was actually clearing tables (working) to clean up the floor. This staff person happened to be physically challenged and perhaps with down syndrome. So, the able-bodied folks on your staff, who were basically socializing, sent the working person.

Always enjoy Pizza Ranch until today. Worst experience we’ve had. The plates, glasses and silverware all had a rough sandy coating on them (dishwasher rinse cycle not working?). One beverage dispenser had a basin full of water, steadily leaking onto the floor. Very little food was out on the buffet - what was out on the salad bar was disgusting!! Dried wrinkled orange slices, soup pans empty, except for dried noodles at the bottom. We complained to the manager, who was not helpful - just frazzled. I asked if they could wash more dishes, and he brought out a new stack - with the exact rough coating on them all. You couldn’t eat of of them without eating whatever product that was!!! We asked for our money back, and after a wait, we did receive our refund.

We went a little later after dinner to avoid a crowd. There were a lot of noisy kids, one even endlessly kicking the wall during our entire meal. Blue cheese dressing was out. The first person I asked for more said it would be right out. 20 minutes later, I asked the only employee I saw actually working, Q. Mavante. He brought the blue cheese and took my pizza request. When fried chicken finally came out, the breast was raw in the middle, I gave it to a staff member and tried the other breast. That was raw also. Next time it came out, no breasts. Yeah, I recall the broasted chicken is great, when they actually cook it, but no white meat for me. There was another employee with a disability that hustled bussing tables, but other than her and Q, the rest of the staff was pretty much worthless.

Walked in and seems nice, but then I noticed lots of things wrong. Dressings, food bars and desserts weren't stocked or out. The floors were slippery and greasy, about 70 percent of the tables were dirty or had people plates and cups all over. I really only saw 1 nice lady stocking or bringing stuff out. Not sure if it's under staffed, but I'll not return to this location. Locations in Andover, MN or in Maple Grove, MN are way better and have a better experience.
